Harrington and Langer, two stalwarts of the PGA Tour Champions, weighed in on the cheating scandal that occurred in a PGA Tour Canada event.
Justin Doeden’s cheating scandal from last week’s PGA Tour Canada event has caught the attention of both Padraig Harrington and Bernhard Langer, two stalwarts of the PGA Tour Champions.

The 76ers are at yet another crossroads.
This summer, Daryl Morey must decide what to do with James Harden, the 2018 MVP with a confounding playoff résumé who has requested a trade. Morey is steadfast in his position not to trade Harden for anything less than a star or a package that can help the team acquire one.
Generally, that would be a reasonable position for the head of a front office to take. But the problem is the clock is ticking on Joel Embiid in more ways than one.

Jeremy Pruitt is likely to be back on the sideline coaching football this fall. However, it is not quite what he is used to.
The 49-year-old worked his way up through the coaching ranks on the high school level before entering into the college ranks as the defensive coordinator at Alabama, Florida State and Georgia. While coaching at Hoover High School in Alabama under Rush Propst, he famously had never heard of asparagus.

But that’s beside the point.
Pruitt was hired as the head football coach at the University of Tennessee in 2018. His tenure did not go well.

Jameis Winston is entering his fourth season with the New Orleans Saints. He initially joined the team in 2020 as the backup quarterback to Drew Brees. He started seven games for the team in 2021 and went 5-2.
Winston began last season as the starting quarterback but suffered an injury in Week 1. He played through it for two games before finally succumbing. Turns out, he had four fractures in his back. He played through those fractures for two games.
But even after he returned to the active roster, Andy Dalton remained the team’s starter.

The immediate aftermath of Aaron Rodgers pursuing a trade and Damian Lillard requesting a move of his own were as far from similar as one could imagine. Lillard had put off a potential trade request for years, attempting to stay loyal to the Trail Blazers in a tough stretch where the team was half rebuilding and half trying to put their star guard in a position to win a title.
As for Rodgers, the darkness retreat and drawn-out delay in his decision this past offseason were surely enough to send Packers fans into a frenzy of frustration.

Akshay Bhatia won the Barracuda Championship on the PGA Tour, but that doesn’t mean he is in the FedEx Cup playoffs like many initially thought.
Akshay Bhatia thought he was heading to the FedEx Cup playoffs.
After winning the Barracuda Championship Sunday, the 21-year-old believed he had done enough, but it seems there is a lot of work left to do.
Bhatia spoke on Sirius XM PGA Tour radio about the whole situation.
“My agent told me a couple hours after the [Barracuda] trophy presentation,” Bhatia said.

Sean Payton is a Super Bowl–winning coach and, as of last year, also something of a TV analyst. But now we can confirm that he, too, is a performer.
This is true of a lot of people in leadership positions. For the portions of George Patton IV’s biography I remained awake for on Audible, it was said he enjoyed the costume of a military man, of creating and donning a persona.
I won’t give Payton that much credit, though I do think the intent behind his burial of former Broncos coach Nathaniel Hackett on Thursday was obvious.

Thursday night ESPN will test an all-female SportsCenter at 11 pm. Women will make up the entire on-air and behind-the-scenes staff.
The network says the test is an opportunity to spotlight women’s sports and focus less on male sports, like the NFL and college football.

OutKick asked ESPN which women would host the all-female edition of SportsCenter.

The United States Women’s National Team used a second-half goal against the Netherlands on Wednesday to earn a 1–1 tie and remain in control of its 2023 World Cup destiny heading into Tuesday’s group-play finale against Portugal. 
One very familiar name that didn’t see any playing time against the Netherlands was Megan Rapinoe, who has been the face of the USWNT for over a decade. The legendary 38-year-old forward is retiring this year and her role on this current team has been completely different than it has been in the past.
