Legendary Bills quarterback Jim Kelly has always given his thoughts on the state of the team, especially now that Buffalo is a legitimate Super Bowl contender. In his most recent comments, Kelly argued that Buffalo needs to add a “star running back” to pair with Josh Allen.
When LeSean McCoy was asked about Kelly’s opinion, the former Bills running back took some shots at the Hall of Famer.
“First of all, Jim always talks, when I was there he was always talking, he just wants to talk about the team,” McCoy said on Up and Adams.
After months of speculation, Charles Barkley is officially joining the world of cable news. During TNT’s NBA pregame show on Saturday, CBS Mornings anchor Gayle King was brought out as a guest to announce that she and Barkley will host a weekly CNN talk show called King Charles, beginning in the fall.
The show will air on Wednesday nights, according to the on-air announcement.
In an internal announcement shared by Ben Mullin of The New York Times, CNN CEO Chris Licht announced that the show is set to run into 2024.
Nick Bosa warned then-Arizona Cardinals general manager Steve Keim what would happen if they passed on him in the 2019 NFL Draft.
Willis McGahee IV, the son of former NFL star running back Willis McGahee III, has committed to Matt Rhule at Nebraska.
The 2024 prospect out of Columbus High School in Miami does not play running back like his dad did, but is instead a linebacker, and one of the 25 best at his position nationally.
The younger McGahee committed to the Cornhuskers over the likes of Auburn, Michigan, Tennessee and others. He announced his decision on his personal Twitter account on Saturday morning.
Sixers coach Doc Rivers spoke with reporters on Saturday about the status of center Joel Embiid ahead of Game 4 between Philadelphia and the Nets.
Embiid, who suffered a sprained knee during Game 3 of the series, was ruled out of Saturday’s game on Friday. While the 76ers have a commanding 3–0 series lead and the chance to sweep the Nets on Saturday, it did not stop Rivers from thinking about the health of his star big man, who has had his fair share of injuries.
The Yankees and Blue Jays have developed a rivalry over the past few seasons since Toronto put itself back into contention. That timeline lines up with the arrival of starter Alek Manoah, who made his major league debut at Yankee Stadium late in 2021.
Last year, Manoah put together a stellar season, finishing third in Cy Young voting with a 2.24 ERA over 31 starts. The Toronto ace has been no stranger to trash talk, and he took some shots at Yankees pitcher Gerrit Cole in the offseason.
“He cheated,” Manoah said, on Serge Ibaka’s How Hungry Are You?.
Some draft analysts have drawn comparisons between Alabama quarterback Bryce Young and his Crimson Tide predecessor, Tua Tagovailoa.
They’ve noted similarities in both the quarterbacks’ size and poise in the pocket.
But if there’s anything the presumed No. 1 overall pick doesn’t want to emulate from Tagovailoa, it’s the tendency to land on his head.
Which is exactly why the first order of business for Young is to learn how to slide properly to avoid concussion.
Bryce Young won both a National Championship and the Heisman Trophy while at the University of Alabama.

The 2023 NFL Draft is loaded with talent at the running back position.
Even in a pass-heavy NFL, the buzz surrounding the incoming group of rookie running backs is strong.
Many believe the 2023 NFL Draft features one of the deeper classes at the running back position to enter the draft in some time. At least one back seems like a first-round lock, while several others have generated significant Day 2 buzz.

Plus, the Hawks are back in the series against the Celtics.
Atlanta still breathing after 130-122 win over Boston
For the first 11 or so minutes, this seemed in danger of ending up like the first two games after Boston built up a 37-28 lead with 52 seconds remaining in the first quarter. The Hawks responded with a 15-3 run, including five unanswered to end the quarter. Celtics never led by more than a possession after the first while the Hawks led by as much as 14 and 12 at different junctures.
