Williams’s daughter, five-year-old Olympia, was just as excited as her parents when the news became official.

NFL fans will have to wait a little while longer for Aaron Rodgers’s highly anticipated Jets debut. The future Hall of Famer will not be playing in Thursday’s Hall of Fame Game, which pits New York against the Browns in Canton, Ohio.
Rodgers was dealt to the Jets in April after a down year that saw Green Bay miss the postseason for the first time since 2018. His new team is hopeful he can lead them back to the playoffs and end a franchise-record 12-year drought.

Jalen Ramsey appeared at Dolphins practice Tuesday morning after he underwent knee surgery on Friday and fans in attendance welcomed him back with nothing but love. While on the field with help from some crutches, fans can be heard chanting “Jalen” in the background in a show of support for their injured star cornerback. 
Ramsey was the acquisition of the offseason for Miami after the Rams traded him back in March, but unfortunately a meniscus injury suffered Thursday will likely sideline him for sizeable portion of the regular season.

Giants reliever Tyler Rogers is without a doubt the strangest pitcher in the major leagues. No other active pitcher uses a submarine throwing motion like Rogers does—and even by the standards of other submariners, Rogers’s delivery is bizarre. He bends over and releases the ball just a few inches from the ground. 
Not only do hitters have to try to decipher Rogers’s unique release point, they also have to recalibrate their brains to interpret the bizarre break of his pitches. For example, how many pitchers throw a slider that rises? None. Except for Rogers.

British Swimming has changed its policies on locker room access after girls and parents felt uncomfortable when a trans woman used a women’s locker room as a cut-through during a competition for teens in Sheffield, England.
Last week, according to the Daily Mail, athletes and parents voiced their concerns after 65-year-old Anna Coombes — a biological male — walked through the women’s changing room during a competition.
This understandably upset parents and athletes alike. One parent spoke to The Telegraph about the incident.

Aaron Rodgers’ arrival in New Jersey could not have been a more positive development for Zach Wilson’s career. It may have been a shot to the ego, but it will benefit him in the long run and he seems to have the same understanding.
Wilson and Rodgers are getting along well.

The NFL and CBS Sports announced on Tuesday that Super Bowl 58 will feature a first: The first alternate broadcast. (Super Bowl I was broadcast simultaneously on both NBC and CBS.) CBS holds the rights to Super Bowl 58, which is scheduled for February 11, 2024.
