Raiders owner Mark Davis knows a thing or two about moving a team from Oakland to Las Vegas.
He also knows a thing or two about the Athletics, the MLB franchise that the Raiders shared the Oakland Coliseum with for 25 years. 
Earlier this week, the A’s announced that the groundwork has been laid for the franchise to relocate to Las Vegas. The A’s have until January of 2024 to get a stadium deal done just west of the Las Vegas strip where the franchise has entered a purchase agreement for land.
Davis isn’t fond of the move by the A’s, and there’s one particular reason why.

Whatever thoughts you may have about LIV Golf and Greg Norman, everyone should be able to admit that the CEO of the Saudi-backed circuit has been consistent when it comes to his overarching message about the game of golf and the war it currently finds itself in.
From LIV Golf’s inception, Norman has always portrayed that he simply wants everyone to get along. He believes, or at least wants others to believe, that there is enough room in the golf world for the PGA Tour, the DP World Tour, and LIV Golf to co-exist.

Warriors get back in series with Sacramento, win big, 114-97

When Steph Curry is playing at an MVP level like he was Thursday — 36 points on 12-of-25 shooting — and Kevon Looney is masquerading as Hakeem Olajuwon (20 rebounds and nine assists), Golden State is going to be hard to beat. The Warriors, who never trailed, will look to even the series on Sunday.

It’s an odd spot for the future of sports, tucked away atop a hill in the English countryside, two hours west of London. Nailsworth is a quaint little town with a population just north of 5,700. The victory came without Draymond Green, who was suspended for Game 3 due to his actions late in Game 2 when he stomped on Domantas Sabonis’s chest. 
The NBA on TNT crew broke down the game after Golden State’s win and Charles Barkley got Shaq to make a surprising admission about Curry and how good of a player he has been during his legendary career.

Injuries continue to pile up in Major League Baseball, but there is also plenty of talent available on the waiver wire. Police are reportedly investigating Odell Beckham Jr. over an alleged assault.
The Ravens WR is being accused by an unnamed woman of putting “his hand around her neck” at Delilah in Los Angeles several weeks ago, according to TMZ.
The woman alleges the NFL player “went up to her and grabbed her throat with light pressure,” according to the same report. Neither left the venue after the alleged incident and there were no further issues throughout the night. The accuser filed a report a few days later.

Two NFL draft prospects who are often described as “generational talents” might seem like opposites, counterpoints. One plays defense, at a premium position, and his main focus is terrorizing quarterbacks. He starred for a traditional college power that continually ranks among the country’s top teams. The other plays offense, at a position that’s perpetually discounted in the modern NFL, and his focus centers on taking pressure off quarterbacks.
