When the Knicks pushed past the Cavaliers in the fourth quarter during Game 4 of their first-round playoff series, one of their most reliable contributors was conspicuously absent.
New York forward Julius Randle did not see the floor in the last 12 minutes, which Knicks coach Tom Thibodeau attributed to the after-effects of an ankle sprain sustained on March 29 against the Heat. The Knicks won that quarter 29–22 and the game 102–93.
“He’s given us everything that he has,” Thibodeau said. “A lot of guys probably wouldn’t even be playing.

The Warriors picked up a crucial win in Game 4 against the Kings, trotting out a new starting lineup on Sunday as they looked to even the series.
Among the Warriors’ lineup changes included Draymond Green being brought in off the bench, rather than taking his usual spot among the starting five following his return from the one-game suspension which caused him to miss Game 3. 
The decision to bring Green off the bench was reportedly made by the organization, though The Athletic’s Shams Charania indicated that the 33-year-old was on board with the move.

People can’t keep their hands off of Hollywood Casanova Pete Davidson.
Davidson, a huge Knicks fan, was in attendance at MSG on Sunday for New York’s Game 4 against Cleveland. His postgame meet-and-greet with fans went sideways when one eager fan got too handsy with Pete.

As Davidson flicked up with his fellow Knicks fans, the SNL alum was bothered by an eager fan that kept touching and trailing him.

The Warriors evened their first-round series against the Kings on Sunday after escaping with a 126–125 Game 4 win in a wild game at Chase Center. But, while Golden State can take joy in securing the crucial victory, an untimely, late-game blunder by Stephen Curry nearly led to a much different result.
With the Warriors up 126–121 with 47.1 seconds left in regulation, Curry attempted to bring the ball up the floor after a Kings miss before being met by a soft double team from forward Harrison Barnes and guard Davion Mitchell.

After lobbing some bulletin board material in the direction of LeBron James, Grizzlies wing Dillon Brooks had a rough go of things during Saturday’s 111–101 loss to the Lakers in Game 3. He managed just seven points on 3-for-13 shooting in 19 minutes before getting ejected for hitting James in the groin, bringing a premature end to a forgettable night.
A day later, Brooks offered an interesting perspective on what contributed to him getting ejected, telling reporters on Sunday that the negative perception against him played a role in him being issued a flagrant 2 foul on Saturday.

Bucks coach Mike Budenholzer provided an update on Giannis Antetokounmpo’s status ahead of Monday’s Game 4 against the Heat as the star forward continues to recover from a lower back contusion.
Budenholzer told reporters on Sunday that Antetokounmpo, who has not played since suffering the injury early in Game 1, participated in individual work on the court at the Kaseya Center but remains without a timeline for a return. Milwaukee, the East’s No. 1 seed, currently trails No. 8 Miami, 2–1, after splitting the last two games without Antetokounmpo.
