Hall of Fame quarterback Brett Favre is the one player who can relate to Aaron Rodgers‘s move to New York above all the rest. Prior to the 2008 season, Favre faced the same career path after being traded to the Jets following 16 seasons as the leader of the Packers.
While speaking with ESPN’s Ed Werder, the fourth-ranked passing yards leader (71,838) in NFL history expressed confidence that Rodgers will find success in New York.
Via text, Favre proclaimed that “Aaron will do great!!!! He will handle the transition as well as anyone.

Will Levis became the betting favorite to be selected second in Thursday’s NFL draft over the weekend and thanks to a Reddit rumor, his odds of going No. 1 to the Panthers drastically increased. 
Reddit user SaleAgreeable2834 referenced Levis’s long odds to be the first pick and wrote, “Well ladies and gentleman [sic], he’s telling friends and family Carolina will in fact take him on Thursday. You’re welcome.” The Kentucky quarterback’s odds to go No. 1 to the Panthers shortened from +4000 to +600 Tuesday morning at SI Sportsbook.

Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship is only days away from its biggest event to date this Saturday with BKFC 41, which is a co-main event headlined by two former UFC champions in Luke Rockhold and Eddie Alvarez.
The combat sport promotion is only five years old, yet it has displayed remarkable growth. That is clearly visible in its marquee bouts—Rockhold against Mike Perry in the main event and Alvarez against Chad Mendes in the co-main—and a slate of fights on the card that also feature Ben Rothwell, Christine Ferea and Chris Camozzi.

Following back-to-back injury-riddled seasons, the Commanders will not exercise the fifth-year option on the rookie contract of former No. 2 pick Chase Young, according to Nicki Jhabvala of the Washington Post.
The result of the move is that Young’s rookie deal will expire following the 2023 season, which would make him a free agent unless Washington agrees to a long-term deal to keep the defensive end.
Young, the 2020 Defensive Rookie of the Year, stood out tremendously in his first NFL season, racking up 7.

When Deion Sanders arrived as the new coach at Colorado in December, he warned the roster in his initial meeting with the team that significant changes were coming.
“I’m bringing my luggage with my luggage with me and it’s Louis,” Sanders told the team. “I want y’all to get ready and go ahead and jump in that portal. The more you jump in, the more room you make.”
Sanders’s approach may have been brash, but who could blame him? After all, the Buffaloes went 1–11 last season and were one of the worst programs in the country under Karl Dorrell.

Being a home plate umpire in Major League Baseball can’t be the easiest job in the world but still, we shouldn’t see any of them making the type of mistakes Brian O’Nora made in Tuesday night’s Marlins-Braves game. 
O’Nora, who has long been considered one of the worst umpires in all of baseball, added another embarrassingly bad wrong call that cost Atlanta’s Ozzie Albies a strike during an at-bat in the fourth inning. 
But that wasn’t the only bad call O’Nora made in the game.

At this point we know the big names in the NFL Draft. The quarterbacks to keep an eye on, the abundance of pass rushers, and offensive tackles who can help improve a team. What about the sleepers? The guys who could easily fall into late day two, or even day three and could easily be the gems of the draft.
Succeeding in the draft is rarely about simply finding excellent players in the first round.

F1 team AlphaTauri announces a new management structure for 2023
Formula One is back this weekend, and the action will look a little different on the track with the debut of the new “Sprint Saturday” format.
However that is not the only change, coming to the grid, as AlphaTauri announced a new management structure starting later this year.
According to the announcement, Team Principal Franz Tost will step down from that role at the end of the 2023 season.

The Hawks double-booked their arena with Janet Jackson because even they didn’t think they’d beat the Celtics twice.
Not many people expected the No. 7 seed Atlanta Hawks to win two games off the No. 2 seed Boston Celtics in the first round of the 2023 NBA Playoffs, and that apparently includes the Hawks themselves. Atlanta booked its home arena for a Janet Jackson concert scheduled for Thursday, April 27 way before the playoff bracket was ever announced.
