Jorge Masvidal had no doubts about retiring.
But he still has frustrations about the way his career ended.
Masvidal left his gloves in the cage last month at UFC 287. In front of a hometown crowd in Miami, he announced his retirement in the moments following his loss to Gilbert Burns.
“I’m proud of what I did,” says Masvidal. “I put my hard hat on, and I did some dope f—ing s—. But it’s bittersweet. I’m set for my life and I’m a household name, but if I could do it all over again, I would. There is a lot more I could have done.

Deion Sanders has made a ton of noise during his first spring as the head coach at Colorado. Most of it centers around the mass exodus of players, as Sanders puts together his own team in Boulder. Some college football observers are against what is happening, but his boss, AD Rick George, fully supports what Sanders is doing.
The shock factor has been one of the talking points, with 52 players transferring since Sanders took over. How and why those players aren’t on Colorado’s roster at this point has led to conversations behind the scenes.

Fans have been asking for it for a long time, and according to Houston Oilers legend Warren Moon, it’s finally becoming a reality.
Appearing on “Up and Adams,” Moon said Titans’ Owner Amy Adams Strunk confirmed the team would bring back the Oilers uniforms in 2023.
“I talked with the owner about it,” Moon said. “She was waiting for the helmets to be approved.

On Tuesday’s episode of “Undefined with Josina Anderson,” the free agent said his career in the NFL remains uncertain. But he’s not abandoning his personal style.
“I’m not changin,’” he said. “This is one thing I do understand about my stance, especially with the NFL. It’s such a prestigious brotherhood, fraternity.

We’re one week removed from the NFL draft, where three first-round quarterbacks were taken in the first four picks. It took until the second round for Kentucky quarterback Will Levis to be selected and until the third-round for Tennessee quarterback Hendon Hooker to be picked.
Levis and Hooker joined Alabama quarterback Bryce Young, Ohio State quarterback C.J. Stroud and Florida quarterback Anthony Richardson as the consensus top five signal-callers in this year’s class.
Buccaneers advisor and former coach Bruce Arians doesn’t care about any of those guys.

Texas officially announced on social media they landed point guard Max Abmas via the transfer portal.
Abmas began his college career at Oral Roberts and spent four years with the Golden Eagles. The point guard started 123 games since 2019 and averaged at least 21.9 points per games in each of the last three seasons. Abmas is a three-time member of the first team All-Summit League, and was the 2022–23 Summit League Player of the Year.
Abmas is best known for helping lead Oral Roberts to the Sweet Sixteen of the 2021 NCAA tournament. As a 15-seed, that Oral Roberts team upset No.

Sergio Garcia has earned a reputation among some golf fans over the years for being arrogant and immature and added even more ammunition for his critics with his latest move involving the DP World Tour.
Garcia and 16 other golfers who made the jump to LIV Golf were fined £100,000 (about $125,000) by the DP World Tour and the Spaniard is the lone player yet to pay the fine.
The fine was originally sanctioned in July 2022 and upheld in April by a ‘sports resolution’ panel, whatever that is.

What’s next for the University of Alabama athletic department? Are we just days away from the Tide announcing Bud Light as a major corporate sponsor?
Alabama athletic director Greg Byrne must be wishing he could just deal with more simple, athletic-director matters such as coaches’ contracts, radio and TV deals, or soon replacing football coach Nick Saban, 71, when he retires.
