This is incredible.
After weeks of speculation, THQ Nordic made it official: The Stadium Stampede is coming to AEW: Fight Forever, and this is the most gloriously stupid thing I have ever seen in a wrestling game.

30 wrestlers enter the stadium. Only one can reign supreme.

Zhang, the 20-year-old phenom out of Stanford, is looking to make history at the U.S. Women’s Open in Pebble Beach.
Rose Zhang will play her first U.S. Women’s Open as a professional at Pebble Beach Golf Links of all places. She is no stranger to this iconic golf course. During her collegiate career, Zhang shot a 63 in the Carmel Cup, the course record for women.
She is used to making history. Zhang and her collegiate teammates were some of the first women to compete in a college tournament at Pebble. It’s a full-circle moment for her.

While it’s always nice to hear professional athletes be honest when speaking with the media, Gabriel Jesus maybe should have kept this story about crying ahead of a match with Man City to himself.
Jesus, who now plays for Arsenal, spent a handful of seasons with Manchester City and his exit from the club came as a bit of a surprise prior to the start of last year’s Premier League season. Based on his recently shared story about crying in the locker room, however, it sounds as if it was his decision to leave the club in the first place.

Good morning, I’m Dan Gartland. I’m back from my vacation just in time for the slowest point in the sports calendar.

Four in a row is a nice start
The Mets are probably the biggest disappointment in baseball this season. After an offseason shopping spree that included signing Justin Verlander (two years, $86.

The new hit puzzle game of the summer is here.
Spend a few minutes on any one of the ever-increasing number of social media platforms and you’ll stumble across a grid — a simply nine-by-nine square full of athletes’ faces with prompts in the margins. They’re the sports game of the summer that’s sweeping the internet, and they are incredible.
It began with “Immaculate Grid,” the MLB approach to the game. Launching in April of 2023, Immaculate Grids were everywhere by June.

A YES Network cameraman had to be carted off the field in the 5th inning of Wednesday night’s game between the Yankees and Orioles at Yankee Stadium after Baltimore infielder Gunnar Henderson hit the camera operator with an errant throw.
The cameraman, Pete Stendel, was conscious and undergoing tests at a local hospital, according to a statement from the YES Network after the game.
Henderson was in the middle of turning a double play for the Orioles when his throw sailed over the head of first baseman Ryan O’Hearn.

When the most valuable player you have in a potential trade to bring a superstar like Damian Lillard to town isn’t piquing the other team’s interest, it’s not exactly a great starting point in negotiations. This appears to be somewhere in line with how the Trail Blazers view Tyler Herro, the player initially floated as a part of the Heat pursuing a trade for Lillard.
Fortunately for Miami, there is some positive news coming down the rumor pipeline on Herro and his potential impact in a trade.

Add another chapter to the growing legend that is Elly De La Cruz.
In just 26 games the young Cincinnati Reds infielder has taken MLB by storm. Over that short period of time De La Cruz has hit for the cycle, posted a batting average of .318, stolen 11 bases, and helped make the Reds — who sit in first place in the NL Central — fun again.
But on Wednesday he added an iconic celebration to his burgeoning legend.
