This has to be one of the hardest times in MLB history to be a hitter. So many pitchers are throwing so many different types of nasty pitches that have levels of movement that we’ve never seen before. 
One of those pitchers is the Rockies’ Justin Lawrence. The 28-year-old righthander showed off some ridiculous pitches in a recent spring training game that had a number of players on the Brewers looking like amateurs.
I’m not sure what you’re supposed to do with these pitches.

Mike Rhoades has agreed to become the next men’s basketball coach at Penn State and leave VCU, which is close to hiring Utah State’s Ryan Odom as his replacement, sources told ESPN.

Still, Lillard’s recent choice for the title of the league’s best defender raised eyebrows after it appeared in a Wednesday feature by Jason Quick of The Athletic.

Based on current betting odds, there’s no need to wait until April 27. The #1 overall pick in the NFL Draft is Ohio State quarterback CJ Stroud followed by Alabama quarterback Bryce Young. After that, likely Alabama EDGE Will Anderson, but it’s all up in the air.
According to DraftKings, CJ Stroud is currently going off at -330 to be the #1 pick. That means Stroud is about 75% to be the top pick, according to implied probability. Bryce Young is second at +225.

Former voice of the Chicago White Sox Ken “Hawk” Harrelson has been out of the booth since 2018. However, he says that retiring wasn’t his choice and that he was forced to hang up his microphone.
Harrelson is 81 these days, and some quick, impressive math reveals that he was approximately 76 years old when he rode off into the proverbial sunset. However, during a recent interview on the Foul Territory podcast hosted by Scott Braun and ex-White Sox catcher A.J. Pierzynski, Harrelson indicated he may have had more gas left in the tank.

Tom Brady, Rob Gronkowski and Julian Edelman were seen getting loose with some beach football recently as the trio of Patriots greats linked up in retirement.
In a video posted to Instagram by Gronkowski’s girlfriend Camille Kostek, the retired stars are seen running routes and taking part in a casual pickup game in what was a hilarious recreation of Top Gun: Maverick’s Dogfight football scene.
Amid the action, Brady was tasked with guarding Gronk.

The former Stanford men’s basketball star will now coach his alma mater’s rival.
The University of California is hiring former Stanford basketball star Mark Madsen as the school’s next coach, according to a report from Matt Norlander of CBS Sports.
Madsen has spent the last four seasons coaching Utah Valley of the Western Athletic Conference, and has guided the Wolverines to a 70–51 record and two regular season conference championships.
Madsen now heads to Berkeley to lead the rival of his alma mater, Stanford.

As Lipscomb University junior Logan Van Treeck sat in class on Tuesday morning, his professor had to stop teaching. She has children in school in Nashville and found herself overcome with emotion after the tragic events that occurred on Monday morning at The Covenant School, when a shooter opened fire and left three children and three adults deceased.
In that moment, Logan Van Treeck felt the Lord call upon him.
