It is Max Verstappen on pole yet again, but a surprising team has the two spots behind him
It was a tricky stat to qualifying on Saturday at the British Grand Prix, as weather conditions forced teams to try and find the right compounds at the start. But slowly over the hour conditions improved, opening the door for a different look to the starting grid for Sunday’s Grand Prix.

British cycling great Mark Cavendish is out of the Tour de France after crashing during the race’s eighth stage between Libourne and Limoges, France Saturday morning.
Cavendish, 38, fell off his bike with a little over 60 kilometers to go in the eighth of the race’s 21 stages. He laid on the pavement clutching his arm while several cyclists in the vicinity were forced to put on their brakes; he was eventually loaded into an ambulance before formally dropping out of the competition.
The legendary cyclist had indicated before the race that the 2023 Tour de France would be his last.

He began his career in Philadelphia but was traded to Minnesota in his third season as part of the Jimmy Butler deal in ’19. Šarić was then traded to the Suns that offseason, where he spent parts of four years, but was traded again to the Thunder before the trade deadline last year.

Jon Jones will defend his UFC heavyweight title at UFC 295 on Nov. 11, facing former champion Stipe Miocic at Madison Square Garden in New York City.
Jones made his return to the octagon after a three-year absence on March 4, winning the heavyweight title for the first time by submitting Ciryl Gane. The victory moved his all-time record up to 27–1, with the one loss being a disqualification against Matt Hamill back in 2009. He previously held the light heavyweight title, successfully defending it in a record 11 fights.
Miocic (20–4) will make his own return after a lengthy layoff.
