Deion Sanders wants Colorado players to know hard work is the tool that gets you where you want to go in life.
Sanders has been on a tear since taking over the Buffaloes, and he’s offered fans an incredible inside look at how he runs the program in Boulder.
Before even coaching a game, Sanders has made it crystal clear what his expectations are for his team. Now, he’s made it clear you don’t have a shot in life of succeeding if you don’t work hard.

It’s mock draft season, which also means it’s guessing season.
The 2023 NFL draft might be one of the most intriguing drafts in recent memory because two, or maybe three, quarterbacks are in the running of being the No. 1 pick come April 27 in Kansas City. Beyond the quarterbacks, there are plenty of unknowns at various positions, and that might force teams to prioritize scheme fits over physical traits.
With free agency behind us, and with the help of scouting reports from the draft experts, here’s my best guess at how the first-round of the draft will play out.

Anthony Richardson will reportedly visit at least half a dozen different NFL franchises.
The former Florida quarterback is expected to be one of the first passers off the board in the first round of the NFL Draft April 27.
The dual-threat QB has plenty of raw talent and incredibly physical tools, but still needs a lot of polishing before he’s ready to lead a franchise.

Now, the picture of teams interested is starting to become clearer.

The NBA play-in tournament is around the corner. Here’s how it works.
There’s no question the NBA play-in tournament has been a successful addition to the league’s postseason format. After experimenting with the idea during the bubble in 2020, the NBA instituted the play-in tournament to determine the No. 7 and No. 8 seeds in each conference ahead of the 2021 playoffs. The play-in tournament has given us a few memorable moments in first few years, and this season could be the best one yet with so much parity throughout the standings.

Joel Embiid’s performance on Tuesday night against the Celtics only strengthened the dominant big man’s grip on the 2023 NBA MVP award.
Embiid led the way scoring a game-high 52 points in the 76ers‘ 103–101 victory. The seventh-year center finished with a double-double, grabbing 13 rebounds and dishing out six assists.
The explosive outing was good enough for Philadelphia head coach Doc Rivers to declare there is doubt who the best player in the league is this season.
“The MVP race is over,” Rivers said at the podium after the game.

Elway has been synonymous with the Broncos brand for the past 40 years but the longtime relationship will now come to a formal end. As reported by NFL Network’s James Palmer, the Walton-Penner ownership group decided to not offer Elway a new contract after serving the last two years in a consultant role.

Darron Lee, a former NFL linebacker and Ohio State star, was arrested Monday in Dublin, Ohio, on two charges of misdemeanor domestic violence and two misdemeanor assault from two separate incidents, according to Franklin County Municipal Court records.
The charges stem from two different altercations, one of which happened on Monday and one that took place on Oct. 17, both at the same location. Per court records, a woman relative of Lee called the police to the home after Lee reportedly punched her in the head numerous times during an argument on Monday.

Reigning National League Cy Young winner Sandy Alcántara was sensational on Tuesday night at LoanDepot Park, posting Major League Baseball’s first shutout of the 2023 season in just one hour and fifty-seven minutes.
Miami’s ace rebounded from an opening day loss to the Mets with a superb 100 pitch effort against the previously undefeated Twins (4–1). The sub-two hour game was the shortest so far this season.
The 27-year old talent, who helped Miami earn their first win of the season, snapped the club’s four-game losing streak in the process.
