According to Memphis police records acquired by the Washington Post, Memphis Grizzlies Guard Ja Morant has been accused of repeatedly punching a 17-year-old in the head and threatening him with a gun last summer. The teenager told police that he was hit 12 to 13 times and was left with a knot on the side of his head. Former NBA Champion Eddie House joins Skip Bayless and Shannon Sharpe to give Ja Morant some advice.

Have the recent changes in college football led to coaches looking for a quicker way to the NFL?
It’s certainly been a dream scenario for many coaches to one day be employed at the highest level of football. But more recently we’ve seen a shift in philosophy when it comes to getting out of the current landscape of college football. These changes have led to coaches either looking for a faster route to the NFL or looking elsewhere or taking a sabbatical from coaching all together.
The new era of NIL and the transfer portal has made the lives of college coaches more strenuous.

The 76ers are underdogs in Dallas for a showdown between Luka Dončić and Joel Embiid, the top two scorers in the NBA.
The Dallas Mavericks host the Philadelphia 76ers at American Airlines Center on Thursday night for the first meeting of the season between the two contenders.
Philadelphia is in Texas for the second leg of a back-to-back, following a 23-point win Wednesday in Miami without Joel Embiid. Dallas lost a tight game at home Tuesday to the Pacers, a continuation of its recent struggles since the Kyrie Irving trade.

Bruce Pearl was furious with SEC officials after Wednesday’s loss to Alabama. Auburn dealt with foul trouble throughout the evening and its head coach was big mad.
Pearl’s frustration boiled over in an angry rant during the Tigers’ postgame radio show ‘Courtside Cam’ and he went ballistic. He believes that the poor officiating played a significant role in his team’s loss to its in-state rivals, especially starters Johni Broome, Jaylin Williams and Allen Flanigan fouling out.

We should have won the game. Very, very disappointing. You know, obviously, they made some plays.

I’m still coming to terms with the news that AI is replacing writers, and now quarterbacks are on the chopping block. Is no one’s job safe from the threat of robots and artificial intelligence?
Even worse, Ohio State’s Marvin Harrison Jr. is helping out in expediting the robotic revolution (Robolution?).
Harrison has signed a deal to partner with sports robotics company Monarc. They produce the world’s first robotic quarterback, which is known as Seeker.

Super excited to officially be a part of the Monarc family lets get to work @MonarcSport pic.twitter.

The NFL Draft is hurtling towards a QB feeding frenzy.
There’s been a lingering perception for a while that this is a good year to need a quarterback. At this point in the process there are four very solid prospects, ranging a wide gamut of skills and abilities from true pocket field generals to dual-threat phenoms. But as the process continues it’s now looking very dicey for any team wanting a QB after the No. 5 pick.

Lane Kiffin has a fully booked yoga class at Ole Miss this upcoming Tuesday.
The famous coach of the Rebels recently advertised a yoga class with him for just $20 (not refundable), and all people need to bring is a mat, water and a great attitude.

There was room for 250 people to stretch their muscles with the Ole Miss leader, and every spot is already taken.

Jordan Spieth is a wizard. While every PGA Tour player is the best of the best, Spieth’s ability to hit golf shots that simply do not make sense is unmatched. His magic was on full display during Thursday’s opening round of the Arnold Palmer Invitational.
On his third hole of the day, the Par 5 12th, Spieth found a fairway bunker with his tee shot. While he could have elected to take an iron and lay up in the fairway to a nice number and try to make birdie that way, the three-time major winner doesn’t exactly operate that way.
