People hoping to attend the Big Ten Tournament Thursday won’t have to spend much money at all.
The first game of the day in Chicago at the United Center is Michigan vs. Rutgers, and both teams are fighting for a tournament spot.

Australia and Korea faced off in the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Australia took the first lead of the game in the 4th inning on a sacrifice fly from Logan Wade. Korea took their first lead of the game in the bottom of the 5th with a three-run homer from Euiji Yang to make it 3-2. Korea added to their lead in the 6th inning thanks to ByungHo Park who hit an RBI double. Australia took back the lead in the 7th after Robbie Glendinning crushed a 3-run jack. Australia took a commanding lead in the 8th inning hitting another 3-run blast coming off the bat of Robbie Perkins.
Panama took on Netherlands in pool play of the 2023 World Baseball Classic. Xander Bogaerts and Jurickson Profar brought the power as they both hit solo home runs. Panama threatened late but the Dutch came out on top and improved to 2-0 in the Classic.
Jurickson Profar CRUSHED a solo homer in the fifth inning to give the Netherlands a 2-0 lead against Panama in the 2023 World Baseball Classic.
San Jose’s coach is paying for his outburst.
Sharks coach David Quinn has been fined $25,000 by the NHL for conduct demeaning to officials, according to a statement from the league.
Quinn was ejected from Saturday’s game against the Capitals after losing his cool in front of the referees.
San Jose’s coach launched into a wild NSFW tirade against referee Gord Dwyer following a hooking call against Sharks winger Kevin Labanc in the third period, resulting in an early end to his night on the bench. Dwyer issued Quinn a game misconduct for abuse of an official.
Korea’s Baekho Kang celebrated after a double and steps off the base, resulting in a tag-out against Australia in the World Baseball Classic.
