While most NFL analyst project the Atlanta Falcons to focus heavily on defense in the 2025 NFL draft, the team has rarely done what was expected during the four drafts under general manager Terry Fontenot.
The Falcons obviously have more needs on defense, but they’re doing their due diligence when it comes to the 2025 draft class. According to a report from ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler, Atlanta is set to meet with Texas wide receiver Isaiah Bond. A Georgia native, Bond will visit the Falcons for a local pro day next week.

Can we just have one holiday without football?
Christmas Day is just another chance to watch football. At least that’s what the NFL is hoping. On Tuesday the league announced during owners’ meetings that broadcasts on Christmas Day weren’t just continuing, but expanding.
This means we will have a Thanksgiving-like slate of games on Christmas Day, with a back-to-back-to-back triple-header, airing at 1 p.m, 4:30 p.m., and 8:20 p.m.
Formula 1 is in Japan this weekend for an always-entertaining trip to the iconic Suzuka Circuit, and there are a lot of eyes on McLaren star and championship leader Lando Norris, something I’m sure he wasn’t the case when he nearly faceplanted on the sidewalk while exiting a van in front of some of his adoring fans.
McLaren has been the clear front-runner through two Grand Prix and a Sprint Race, with their drivers, Norris and teammate Oscar Piastri, winning one Grand Prix each.
However, Norris leads the championship, and that’s why there will be a lot of focus on him.

Louisville is killing it in the men’s transfer portal so far.
The most anticipated men’s Final Four in recent memory is set for San Antonio, with all four No. 1 seeds still advancing to the national semifinals for the first time since 2008. This Final Four has it all: top NBA draft picks like Cooper Flagg, legendary coaches like Kelvin Sampson seeking their first national title, elite offenses facing elite defenses, and so much more.
For every other program in college basketball, the offseason is already underway.
The 2024 NCAA Women’s Tournament shattered viewership records. And while this year’s tournament hasn’t matched those numbers, the ratings still show a significant improvement over the pre-Caitlin Clark years.
With an average of 1.7 million viewers across ESPN networks, this year’s Sweet 16 games were the second-most watched on record. That’s a 29% decrease from last year’s 2.4 million — but a 39% increase from 2023.
Likewise, this year’s Elite Eight was the second-most-watched quarterfinals round ever with a 2.9 million viewership average.

The Giants’ quarterback of the future will have to wait, because New York grabbed the best player available with the No. 3 pick
The Giants hit big on rookie wide receiver Malik Nabers when they selected him with the sixth overall pick a season ago. This year, they’re hoping they can do that once again, this time with a top-three pick in the draft.
