At this time of year, everyone in the golf world has Georgia on their mind, but with the help of Cobra Golf, you can now have a little piece of Georgia in your golf bag.
The company’s new, limited-edition “Season Opener” DS-Adapt LS, X and Max-K drivers feature a colorful assortment of flowers on the sole, green weights and are inscribed with “The Garden City of the South” on the toe in homage to Augusta National and the Masters, the first major championship of the year.

The Oklahoma City Thunder travel on the road to face the Houston Rockets on Friday. This will be the season’s fifth matchup between the two squads. OKC won three of the first four with its latest win on Mar. 3.
The Thunder (64-12) have won 11 in a row. They scored the last 12 points in a win over the Detroit Pistons on Wednesday. Shai Gilgeous-Alexander had 33 points and Chet Holmgren tallied a 22-point double-double.
Meanwhile, the Rockets (50-27) clinched a playoff spot with a blowout win over the Utah Jazz on Wednesday. Jalen Green led the way with 22 points.

The San Francisco 49ers weren’t super active in free agency, but their small group of signings could hold down some important roles this season.
We sifted through all of their additions in free agency (and via waivers) to find out just what jobs those players could fill. There’s a chance some of their free agent signings don’t make the team. We’re operating as though they all will be on the roster, and we’re projecting roles based on that with some caveats for changes that come after the draft.

Case Keenum still isn’t ready to hang up the cleats.
According to multiple reports, the longtime Houston Texans quarterback has agreed to terms on a one-year deal worth up to $3 million with the Chicago Bears. The 37-year-old heads back to the NFC North after spending the past two seasons serving as the Texans backup behind C.J. Stroud.
Keenum rose to prominence in Minnesota during the 2017 season after leading the Minnesota Vikings to the NFC Championship Game against the Philadelphia Eagles.

Alpine driver Jack Doohan’s ‘heavy’ crash brought out the red flag in Suzuka
Jack Doohan missed the first practice session at this weekend’s Japanese Grand Prix, as Alpine used FP1 to give reserve driver Ryō Hirakawa a chance to drive in one of the team’s required young driver practice sessions.
Doohan returned to the car for FP2 but banked only four laps due to a “heavy” crash in Turn 1 that brought out the red flag and ended his day.

In our 2025 community mock draft, the Jets lock up their quarterback of the future.
The Jets are finally past the Aaron Rodgers experiment and they look to have replaced him with former first-round pick Justin Fields, whom they signed early last month. While that signing seemed like the team attempting to solidify their starting quarterback for the 2025 season, I’m not entirely sold that will keep them from taking a quarterback in this year’s draft, whether that’s in Round 1 or beyond.

Here are our NBA awards picks for the 2025 season.
The 2024-2025 NBA season will mostly be remembered for something that happened off the court. Luka Doncic getting traded from the Dallas Mavericks to the Los Angeles Lakers will never make sense no matter how many times fans see him in purple and gold. Dallas’ epic collapse in the wake of the deal will forever be tied to the trade, and will have consequences for years to come.
There has been plenty to celebrate on the court.

How do NFL teams balance schematic fit vs. best player on the board?
As everyone gets smarter about the NFL Draft and evaluation of players, something that pops up a lot is schematic fit, and for good reason. Putting square pegs into round holes is how a lot of teams end up with busts as first round picks or players that end up succeeding on different teams.

Paige Bueckers, Madison Booker, Azzi Fudd, and Lauren Betts are just a few of the future WNBA players to watch in Friday’s March Madness games.
The Women’s Final Four tips off on Friday night in Tampa, and a long list of WNBA prospects will compete in the match-ups, both in the incoming 2025 WNBA Draft class, and in future years.
Texas and South Carolina face off at 7 pm ET, with UConn and UCLA following them at 9 pm.
Here are (some of the) top WNBA prospects to watch in this one.

New York Giants general manager Joe Schoen has made several curious personnel decisions in recent years, failing to trade players such as running back Saquon Barkley, safety Xavier McKinney, and linebacker Azeez Ojulari at the deadline.
All three are now gone — Barkley and Ojulari to the Philadelphia Eagles, McKinney to the Green Bay Packers — and the Giants received nothing in return outside of help in the compensatory pick formula.
In addition, Schoen has been forced to backfill those positions in subsequent free agency periods.
