MELBOURNE, Australia (AP) — Madison Keys planned to walk into the player tunnel at Rod Laver Arena in a quiet moment when nobody was watching, and take a photo of her name listed with the other champions at the Australian Open.
After beating top-ranked Aryna Sabalenka in last year’s final at Melbourne Park to win her first Grand Slam title, Keys pictured the moment she’d return to the stadium for the first time as defending champion.

Turkish giants express interest in Real Madrid veteran but move complicated
Real Madrid’s defensive crisis has led to David Alaba re-entering the plans of the manager with Alvaro Arbeloa handing him 25 minutes off the bench in the team’s recent defeat to Albacete.
The Austrian star, in that sense, has racked up more minutes in the last two games than he has in the last two months together. His fitness struggles, however, almost confirm that Real Madrid will not renew his contract which runs out in the summer.

Meité is seen as a prospect, but another one of Rennes’ forwards, Esteban Lepaul, is performing excellently right now.

One player is already back – Lucas Hernandez. The France international missed the defeat against Paris FC in the week through illness.

Fantasy Bundesliga: Scout squads for Matchday 18
Bulinews’ Fantasy Bundesliga writers have each put together a squad of 10 outfield players for the upcoming matchday.
Managers have full freedom with formations, but squads can’t exceed 110M, can only include up to three players from the same club and must be built around low-ownership picks (under 20%).
On top of that, every manager can choose one captain, whose points will be doubled.

Jamie Carragher makes prediction ahead of Liverpool vs Burnley
Liverpool vs Burnley: Carragher’s Prediction Reflects Expectation More Than Insight

Liverpool return to Premier League action this weekend with a familiar weight of assumption pressing down on them. Burnley arrive at Anfield as a side flirting with relegation, short on confidence and points, and seemingly cast in the role of willing participant in another routine home victory. On paper, this is straightforward. In reality, Liverpool’s season has been anything but.

However, the club remains on the market, without a taker. Bloomberg reported on Thursday that INEOS had reduced their asking price for the Ligue 1 club significantly. The initial asking price was set at €200m.
The club, however, has lost value in recent months.
