The very old song makes the point that one does not tug on Superman’s cape. And for our purposes, Patrick Mahomes is Superman.
The Raiders messed with the wrong dude in the offseason, mocking Mahomes because he doesn’t have a voice worthy of the Metropolitan Opera. and by Sunday evening they were watching the Kansas City Chiefs celebrate another victory at their expense.

The Jets made a series of big moves to try to right the ship. None of them did, and they now sit 2-6 as losers of five straight. Time to fix things is slipping away fast, but Rodgers and Co. are making peace with it.
The Washington Commanders should have beaten the Chicago Bears on Sunday with the way they played for three quarters. Then, in an instant, the Bears had the game won.
Then, in another instant, the Commanders actually did win the game after rookie quarterback Jayden Daniels completed one of the longest Hail Mary passes you’ll ever see to win the game with no time on the clock.
Daniels ran around in the backfield, giving his receivers time to get into the end zone. By the time he released the football, he was standing on his own 35-yard line.
This was an all-timer finish.
The Washington Commanders SHOCKED the Chicago Bears in Week 8 on a Hail Mary pass as time expired. The Commanders trailed 15-12 and had one last chance at their own 48 yard line. Quarterback Jayden Daniels unleashed a 52-yard pass that Bears defensive back Tyrique Stevenson tipped and Commanders wide receiver Noah Brown caught it in the end zone.
This very well might be the greatest, yet easiest, Hail Mary catch of all time.

Hulk Hogan and Dana White appeared at the Donald Trump rally at Madison Square Garden. Could the guest speaker list get any more star-studded?
Apparently, yes it could.

At any rate, he was certainly the one who seemed to be acting the most like Trump, in all the positive ways.
Texans star WR Stefon Diggs is being evaluated for a knee injury after he suffered a non-contract injury in Sunday’s win over the Colts.
Tua Tagovailoa displayed a willingness to protect himself that his Dolphins teammates, coaches and fans hoped for in his return from a concussion.
