The final game on Friday night for the NCAA Men’s Basketball Tournament features the Tennessee Volunteers (24-11, 12-8 SEC) against the Iowa State Cyclones (29-7, 14-7 Big 12). One of the outside upset games in this Sweet 16 round puts this matchup in Chicago.

MIAMI (AP) — Javier Sanoja had three hits, Sandy Alcantara allowed one run over seven innings and the Miami Marlins opened the season with a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rockies on Friday night.
Alcantara (1-0) made his franchise-leading sixth start on opening day and struck out five, allowed four hits and walked two. It was a promising beginning to the season for the 2022 NL Cy Young award winner after a rollercoaster 2025 during which he went 11-13 with a 5.36 ERA while facing trade rumors.
Sanoja went 3-for-3 with a run-scoring single in the second.

Tiger Woods was taken into custody after a rollover crash on Jupiter Island, Florida, Friday, the Martin County Sheriff’s Office confirmed.
At a press conference, Sheriff John Budensiek said the five-time Masters winner was traveling at “a high rate of speed” when his vehicle collided with another car, causing it to roll over onto the driver’s side. 
Budensiek added that Woods appeared to have exited the vehicle by “crawling” out of the passenger side.
