Real Madrid’s 2-1 victory over Manchester City on Tuesday wrapped up a decisive tie that will now see Los Blancos eagerly await Bayern Munich’s official qualification.

Jonathan Kuminga was trying to throw a first court pass to teammate Jock Landale at the end of the third quarter in the Atlanta Hawks vs. Dallas Mavericks game on Wednesday night when something amazing happened: he accidentally hit one of the longest shots in NBA history.
Kuminga couldn’t believe it, and immediately put his hands on his head in shock. Landale instinctively held his arms close to his chest so that no one could accuse him of interfering with the ball.

We’re not saying everything is going the Atlanta Hawks’ way now, but Jonathan Kuminga just made the eighth-longest shot in NBA history. In their 11th straight win.
As the third quarter ended in the Hawks’ 135-120 win over the Dallas Mavericks on Wednesday, Kuminga threw up a prayer from 74 feet out, as recorded by the NBA, and received three points.

With Onyeka Okongwu euro-stepping toward the basket, Dallas Mavericks forward Cooper Flagg rose up and sent the Hawks center’s shot attempt into the first row.
It marked Flagg’s second chase-down block of the night. When Nickeil Alexander-Walker broke toward the rim, Flagg tracked him down from behind and swatted the shot — a play reminiscent of LeBron James’ iconic block in Game 7 of the 2016 NBA Finals.
While the moment didn’t carry the stakes of a Finals elimination game, Flagg’s effort stood out.

The Las Vegas Raiders were one of the most active teams during the initial wave of free agency.
It’s understandable, considering the team tied for the worst record in the league last year, so there are plenty of holes to fill. Some of the moves include signing linebackers Nakobe Dean and Quay Walker, and wide receiver Jalen Nailor.

BOSTON (AP) — Jaylen Brown scored 23 of his 32 points in the first half and the Boston Celtics rolled to a 120-99 win over the Golden State Warriors on Wednesday night.
Jayson Tatum added 24 points and 10 rebounds for the Celtics, who have won three straight.
It was Tatum’s fifth time scoring at least 20 points in the six games he’s played since making his season debut following Achilles tendon surgery. It also marked his third double-double.
