Is AJ Dybantsa’s college career over?
The star BYU freshman did what he’s done all season long, but the No. 6 Cougars’ lack of depth was exposed in a 79-71 first-round upset loss to No. 11 Texas in the West region.
Dybantsa looked every bit like a player who could be taken No. 1 in the 2026 NBA Draft, but the Cougars simply didn’t have the players to keep up with a Texas team that needed to beat NC State in the First Four to get the chance to play the Cougars.
Dybantsa scored 35 points in the loss. And that was 35 more points than anyone from BYU’s bench scored.

MENLO PARK, Calif. (AP) — Hyo Joo Kim capped off a flawless round at Sharon Heights by holing out for eagle on the par-5 18th hole for a 9-under 63 that gave her a two-shot lead in the Fortinet Founders Cup.
The best scoring came in the morning at the course hosting an LPGA event for the first time, before the greens began to get firm and fast and made it difficult to get shots close.
Kim was more impressed with keeping bogeys off her card on the tree-lined course than she was with the eagle on the final hole.
“I am just so satisfied I had no bogeys,” Kim said.

Dynamic Prep trades places this week with last week’s No. 1 AZ Compass Prep [Chandler, AZ] after the latter was defeated by the No. 8 CIA-Bella Vista Prep [Scottsdale, AZ] Bears in last week’s Nike EYBL championship game.

No trouble for Flamengo, they beat Remo and climb the Brasileirão table
On Thursday (19th), Flamengo secured their fourth consecutive victory in the Brasileirão.
Without much difficulty, the Rubro-Negro defeated Remo 3-0 at Maracanã.
Léo Ortiz opened the scoring in the first half. Samuel Lino and Luiz Araújo completed the tally in the second half.
The result moves Flamengo up to fourth place in the Brazilian Championship standings, while Remo remains at the bottom.
