The Detroit Pistons may not be satisfied sitting at No. 21 in the upcoming 2026 NBA Draft.
According to a report from Brett Siegel, Detroit has interest in potentially trading up to target Michigan standout Yaxel Lendeborg, one of the most intriguing forwards in this year’s class.
And based on his résumé, it is easy to understand why.

The Cleveland Cavaliers will try to avoid being swept off their home floor.

ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Texas Rangers shortstop Corey Seager still had not resumed actual baseball activities Monday, the day that he could have been eligible to return from the injured list because of lower back inflammation.
Manager Skip Schumaker said the two-time World Series MVP went through some drills before the series opener against Houston but was “still probably a few days away” from batting practice or taking groundballs. Seager was mired in a career-worst 0-for-27 slump when put on the 10-day IL.

The New York Knicks are up 3-0 in the Eastern Conference final series against the Cleveland Cavaliers. Game 4, which will be held at Cleveland’s Rocket Arena tonight, will tip off at 8 p.m. ET and airs nationally on ESPN. (Will Taylor and Travis be at this one, too?) Want to tune in to the Western Conference finals between the San Antonio Spurs and the OKC Thunder? Those games will be broadcast on NBC and Peacock throughout the week.

Heading home tied 2-2 in the Western Conference finals, the odds still favor the Oklahoma City Thunder getting through this series and winning their second consecutive NBA title.
But the most interesting part of what has happened through four games against the San Antonio Spurs isn’t merely about a series that now hangs in the balance and a psychological edge that has now shifted after the Spurs rolled to a 103-82 victory in Game 4. It’s not even about this series, per se.

The combination of finishing first during the regular season and second at the tournament gave the Tigers the outright title.
Plymouth finished second overall in the league after winning the tournament with 295 points. Warsaw was nine strokes behind and the tourney runner-up. Northridge finished third at the tourney with a 318 total. The Raiders tied Wawasee for third place overall in the conference.

The Los Angeles Chargers are one team that fascinates me ahead of the 2026 season, mainly because of Mike McDaniel.

Despite the NFL’s best efforts, it appears the league won’t be moving towards an 18-game regular season by 2027.
According to a report by Pro Football Talk’s Mike Florio, citing a source familiar with the situation, an expansion to 18 regular-season games is “highly unlikely” for the 2027-28 season, though “still not impossible.” The NFL continues to leave the door open on an extra game by not announcing a date for Super Bowl LXII, which is scheduled to be played February 2028 in Atlanta.

In today’s fast-scoring T20 cricket, batters are happy to get runs in any manner possible. While cleanly-timed drives and big sixes remain the most pleasing shots for batters, the aggressive nature of the format often forces players into false shots.
