Are you planing on attending the upcoming College Football Playoff title game between Ohio State and Notre Dame on Monday night in Atlanta? If you are, and haven’t purchased tickets yet, I’d say continue holding the line, judging by the latest numbers.
Obviously, this should be a ratings dream for ESPN next week, with the Buckeyes and Fighting Irish having the allure of a title game that is ‘different’ than last year.

Dear abusive football fans: Your actions at stadiums every weekend have consequences, as the Philadelphia Eagles fan who became abusive to a married couple of Green Bay Packers fans at the Wild Card playoff game in Philly has just found out.
The fan, who called the wife the c-word among other things, was found by social media sleuths and identified. Soon afterward, the Eagles banned him from Lincoln Financial Field. And then the issue followed him straight to his job site.
His former job site.
Tiger Woods and his Jupiter Links team made their TGL debut on Tuesday night, and it went exactly as expected. Not only did Jupiter get dominated 12-1 by the heavily favored Los Angeles Golf Club, but Woods’ team delivered some memorable moments throughout the match.
The Big Cat kicked things off by throwing ‘the hammer’ down before a single shot was hit, making the first hole worth double the points.
A father has stirred up quite a controversy after putting his little kid’s Victor Wembanyama game-used jersey for auction, just days after he received it from the star NBA player himself.
The unidentified father and his young son went viral a few weeks ago after the young boy held up a sign at a San Antonio Spurs game that read, “Hey Victor Wembenyama – can you do a jersey swap with me?” After the game, the 7-foot-3 Spurs center – last year’s Rookie of the Year – came over and did what was truly an adorable and very cool moment for the young kid.

See what makes Lamar Jackson and Derrick Henry the NFL’s most dangerous duo
Late in the first quarter of their Wild Card game against the Pittsburgh Steelers Lamar Jackson and the Baltimore Ravens offense faced a 3rd and 4 in their own territory. Baltimore lined up in a 2×2 formation with two tight ends on the field, Mark Andrews in the slot on the left and Isaiah Likely in the slot to the right. Pittsburgh responded with five defensive backs, showing Jackson two deep safeties before the snap.
If you don’t have a password protected computer, and you are working a basketball game at an opposing team’s venue, make sure nobody is around to tweet out something from the team’s official twitter account. That seems to be the case on Tuesday night, as Mississippi State visited Auburn for an SEC basketball showdown.
We’ve all had those nightmares that someone would hack into your account and tweet out something stupid that sends you into full panic-mode.
While Philadelphia sports fans safely own the title of the most ruthless fans in Pennsylvania, and maybe the 49 other states, Pittsburgh supporters aren’t far down that list. A moment between an older Penguins fan, a young kid, and that kid’s mother over the weekend proves that Pittsburgh fans can also hold their own.
During the second period of the Penguins’ 5-2 loss to the Tampa Bay Lighting on Sunday, an older fan reportedly stole a puck from a young kid.
Wisconsin guard John Tonje threw down one of the most outrageous dunks you’ll see this season.
The Badgers improved to 14-3 on the season after a hard-fought 70-68 win over the Buckeyes. Wisconsin’s football team might be a joke, but Greg Gard has the basketball program rolling.
That includes six straight wins, and a highlight reel play that will stick with Tonje for the rest of his career.

Take a look at the free agents at the cornerback position.
As many as seven cornerbacks could come off the board in the first round of the 2025 NFL Draft, and this important position also has some very worthy starters available in free agency this offseason.
We polled a group of writers from around SB Nation to gather consensus rankings about the available players.
We will remove players from the list as they re-sign with their current teams all the way up to the opening of free agency in March.
