Don’t love what’s going on in the world of skiing right now. Don’t love it at all.
Lindsey Vonn – an OutKick fan-favorite and American legend – injured her knee during a World Cup race in Switzerland on Friday. She was airlifted to the hospital after attempting to walk it off. Not great.
Vonn is in the midst of a skiing comeback after six years away from the sport. The Winter Games are just one week away.
Again, not great. None of it.

Here’s a stunner: a WNBA player is NOT thrilled with ICE at the moment. Shocking, I know. Didn’t see it coming.
Paige Bueckers, a Minnesota native, condemned ICE during a shootaround for the Unrivaled league Thursday afternoon. No, don’t ask me what Unrivaled is. I don’t know. I don’t care. Neither do you.
BUT, a bunch of the WNBA ladies are currently playing in it, which means we’re going to get #content out of it.

American ski star Lindsey Vonn was airlifted from a World Cup race in Switzerland on Friday after a terrifying crash during her final run, putting her Olympic comeback in jeopardy just one week before the Milan-Cortina Games are scheduled to begin.
Vonn, who made a stunning comeback to the sport last season after nearly six years away from ski racing, appeared to lose control while attempting to land a jump in her final run in the World Cup race in Crans-Montana.
The 40-year-old Olympic gold medalist, a favorite in this month’s Games, grabbed at her left knee and grimaced in pain.

As Novak Djokovic turned his attention to his latest showdown with Jannik Sinner, he heard something that would end up flipping this Australian Open upside down. In the post-match press conference that followed his quarter-final with Lorenzo Musetti, where Djokovic admitted he was preparing to head home before the Italian retired from two sets up, he bristled at the wording of a question that asked him to compare how he felt “chasing” Roger Federer and Rafael Nadal at the start of his career to how he feels now, with Carlos Alcaraz and Sinner dominating.
Djokovic stopped.

Not every NFL team that’s looking for a new head coach will hit a home run in this cycle. They’re all hoping for a Ben Johnson, Mike Vrabel or Liam Coen and the immediate turnaround those coaches brought to their franchises. It’s far from a guarantee.
We won’t know for a while how each of the 10 teams that were looking for a head coach did with their new hires, but we can assign grades based on how each hire looks in the moment. We’ll also do it for the buzziest coordinator positions that have opened up.
This post will be updated for each new hire.

The 2025 NFL Draft could have ended with Todd Monken getting to work with Shedeur Sanders on a daily basis. A little over nine months later and that scenario — though with a different franchise — is now a reality after the Cleveland Browns selected Sanders in the fifth round in April and hired the former Baltimore Ravens offensive coordinator as head coach this week.
It was reported in September that the Ravens, who employed Monken for the past three seasons, were interested in picking Sanders with the third pick of the fifth round.

Leyton Orient have signed Austria goalkeeper Daniel Bachmann from Watford on loan until the end of the season.
The 31-year-old spent the first half of the campaign at Spanish Segunda Division club Deportivo La Coruna but failed to make an appearance.
Watford have cut Bachmann’s season-long deal at the Spanish club short and sent him back out on loan to the League One side.

Less than a week after their season ended, the Los Angeles Rams found a new special teams coordinator. They’re hiring Raymond “Bubba” Ventrone to take the place of Chase Blackburn, who was fired last season and temporarily replaced by Ben Kotwica.
Ventrone is an experienced special teams coordinator who went from being a player to a coach, getting his start in 2015 on the Patriots’ coaching staff.
Get to know Ventrone with these six quick facts.

Did you know the NFL has a “Chief Kindness Officer”? Neither did we. It’s an invented, honorary position the league made up this year to “promote sportsmanship, empathy, and positivity both on and off the field.
