The 2024 NFL Trade Deadline falls on election day, November 5th — but deals are already being made to improve rosters for contending teams, while simultaneously showing us which organizations are ready to punt on the season and rebuild.
This is the last best chance for teams to improve their rosters for playoff runs. The biggest position of need around the league is wide receiver, with lacking depth and injury causing a void where a large swath of teams with Super Bowl potential is in need of help at WR.

Welcome to Week 7 of the fantasy football season, everybody! Luckily, this isn’t the most difficult week of byes that we’ll face in the 2024 season, with just the Dallas Cowboys (and a lack of depth at WR) and the Chicago Bears (who admittedly have great depth at WR but it’s been volatile for fantasy at best) out for the week.

The Pittsburgh Steelers may be 4-2 and leading their division, which is a surprise to many, but that doesn’t mean all is well in the Steel City. There is drama brewing within the organization, and just as everyone would have predicted, Russell Wilson is caught right in the middle of it.
Justin Fields has led the Steelers to their fast start to the season with Wilson sidelined with an injury. Now that the former Seattle Seahawks signal-caller is nearing 100%, he’s starting to get first-team reps at practice.

Who’s next to join Robert Saleh on the sidelines? There’s an obvious choice for the most endangered head coach, and also a handful who should be bracing for anything.

As the 2024 NFL season rolls merrily along, we start to see trends and tendencies we can rely on to take us through the rest of the campaign. We also see more unheralded players who have seized their opportunities to come out of seemingly nowhere and become major factors for their teams.

The kicker position is a tricky one if you don’t have the biggest names. Linda Godfrey offers streaming advice for the position in Week 7.
Okay, so Week 6 was a doozy. Chase McLaughlin delivered for us again, finishing above average with 9 fantasy points. Matt Gay was serviceable with Joe Flacco at the helm. Gay finished with a respectable 8 points, but that’s nothing to write home about. Cairo Santos fell flat, finishing with 5 fantasy points and missing his only field goal attempt of the game.

John Daly is just like every other golfer in the sense that he has lost far more golf tournaments than he’s won in his career, but he is unbeaten in one thing, and that’s drinking.
Over the years, countless stories have been shared about Daly’s abilities at the bar, and most of those stories share a common ending that includes a laugh and the two-time major winner being the last one standing.
