Hopefully he brings that winning mentality to LA
While Los Angeles Lakers’ second round pick Bronny James is in the midst of summer league right now, there’s bound to be some down time in between games. It’s the perfect time for bonding with your new teammates or members of the NBA via video games.
James did just that, winning a Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III challenge, taking out Grant Williams in a 2-minute challenge. James ended up getting $10,000 and a custom championship belt for his victory.

Are we sure that Cleveland Browns running back Nick Chubb isn’t an alien?
I’m not basing this question off the fact that he’s a 5’11″, 227-pound menace out of the backfield. He might just be one of the best all-around athletes in the NFL, and when Chubb is healthy, I’m not sure that there’s a better pure running back on planet earth.
But even the most physically elite of human beings (aliens?) can suffer a horrific injury. On Monday Night Football in Week 2 of the 2023 season, Chubb suffered a nauseating injury against the Pittsburgh Steelers.

Red Bull and Max Verstappen have leads as the second half of the F1 season begins, but much is ‘unknown’ says the driver
The 2023 Formula 1 season was largely a coronation for Max Verstappen and Red Bull. By the season’s midway point, the Red Bull driver enjoyed a commanding 110-point lead over teammate Sergio Pérez in the F1 Drivers’ Championship and ended up winning the title dominantly, by 290 points over his teammate.

Miami Marlins outfielder Dane Myers is headed to the Injured List with a fractured ankle — an injury he sustained in one of the dumbest ways possible.
Myers told reporters on Sunday that he broke his left ankle when he kicked a clubhouse door in frustration after being ejected during a game against the Cincinnati Reds a day earlier.
“It’s tough (to control myself), but it’s something you gotta do as a pro,” he said Sunday, via Bally Sports Florida.

It’s almost here!
It’s almost here! We can now count the time until College Football 25 is released in HOURS, rather than days or months, and we’re positively salivating after being without college football in video game form for so long.
Naturally everyone will start by playing their favorite team and getting a feel for everything, but eventually that gives way to dynasty mode — and the chance of building a program from the ground up to become a powerhouse.

Welcome to the Open Championship week at Royal Troon.
It is the fourth and final major of the 2024 men’s golf season, and if the first three told us anything — this week should provide some incredible play.

Cheryl Reeve is not doing herself any favors in shutting down the rumors that she wants nothing to do with Caitlin Clark. Reeve, the head coach of both the Minnesota Lynx and U.S. women’s national team, was asked two questions about Clark and immediately went into defensive mode.
Clark and the Indiana Fever played visitor to the Lynx on Sunday afternoon and during her pregame availability with the media, Reeve was asked about Clark’s future on the U.S. national team.
