As USC football enters its second season with Lincoln Riley as head coach, Miller Moss is slated to serve as the backup to Heisman Trophy quarterback Caleb Williams. The California-native is not only a talented athlete, he’s brilliant.
Moss is a redshirt sophomore. He joined the Trojans in the spring of 2021 after graduating high school a semester early, but already has his degree.
USC held its graduation ceremonies over the weekend.
Most of the students who walked the stage and received a diploma began their four years of college in the fall of 2019. Moss, after just 2.

Draymond Green has served as a key contributor to the Warriors’ four NBA championships since 2015.
However, after Golden State’s series-ending loss to the Lakers in Game 6 of the Western Conference semifinals Thursday, Green’s future and what the Warriors roster could look like going forward immediately became hot topics. Green’s contract includes an opt-out clause that would allow him to test free agency this summer.

BATON ROUGE, La. – LSU’s questionable backfield has gained experience and yards.
The Tigers gained a commitment from two-year veteran Notre Dame tailback Logan Diggs (6-0, 214 pounds) on Tuesday after Diggs entered the NCAA Transfer Portal on April 27. Diggs led the Irish in attempts last season as a sophomore with 165 and gained 821 yards. In two seasons in South Bend, Indiana, he gained 1,052 yards on 217 carries with 16 receptions for 267 yards.
Diggs is returning close to home and will have two seasons of eligibility with LSU.

Over the weekend, LIV Golf had an epic golf tournament. Two of the best golfers on the tour — Dustin Johnson and Cam Smith — along with Branden Grace faced off in a three-man playoff to determine the winner. Except, no one got to see it on TV. LIV’s broadcast partner, the CW, cut away from the ending to show re-runs of syndicated shows and, on some stations, just commercials.
LIV golf announcer Arlo White directed fans to the CW app or website to complete the coverage.

Duke Lacrosse, the No. 1 overall seed in the 2023 Division-I Men’s Lacrosse Tournament, will face Michigan in the quarterfinals for a chance to compete for a national championship birth. To get to that point, the Blue Devils beat the Delaware Blue Hens 12-11 on Sunday.
One of their dozen goals was, essentially, the lacrosse version of Kenny Pickett’s fake slide.
Back in December of 2021, Pittsburgh played Wake Forest in the ACC Championship. The pocket collapsed on Pickett early in the first quarter, so he took off up the middle with nothing but green grass in front of him.
