It is officially Indianapolis 500 week which means in less than a week one driver will be cracking a cold one in the winner’s circle…
…and by that I mean a crisp, cold bottle of milk.
As is tradition, the winner of the Indianapolis 500 gets to chug (and spill into the hot cockpit I’m sure their team loves that) a nice bottle of milk after being the first to cross the Yard of Bricks after 500 miles of the Greatest Spectacle in Racing.

It looks like Beaver Stadium is going to undergo a major renovation. On Tuesday, the Penn State Board of Trustees approved a $700 million plan to renovate the facility, with the project scheduled to conclude in 2027.
According to the release on Penn State’s official athletics website, “No tuition dollars or educational budget funds will be used toward the renovations. The entire project will be paid for through fundraising, concessions, naming opportunities, sponsorships and ticket sales, including new premium seating options to be added during the renovation.

So what are the stakes for Aaron Rodgers this year? Well, there’s the nearly unprecedented challenge of coming back from a season-ending Achilles injury at the age of 40. There’s this thing about living up to the NFL’s expectations for the Jets from last year.
And there’s the motivation of not getting fired. And not having everyone else around him fired if the team doesn’t win.
