With every NFL schedule release comes a debate from fans over which team had the most creative and memorable drop on social media. And, for the second offseason in a row, that title appears to be headed back to the Chargers, thanks to their incredible follow-up to last year’s show-stealing reveal.
Thursday’s 2023 schedule release day saw the Chargers unveil next season’s slate of action via an anime-inspired video poking fun at their opponents. Much like the 2022 version, L.A.

Do you ever wonder if your non-sports fan friends would be able to guess team names based on a logo?
Well, the Titans answered this question with their 2023 schedule release social media video on Thursday. All 32 NFL teams post a unique video of their upcoming schedule, and some, like Tennessee’s, go more viral than others.
The Titans social media team took to Nashville’s popular Broadway Street, which is known for its bachelorette parties, bars and tourism sites.
As expected, the Aaron Rodgers effect is real in New York, as the Jets are scheduled to kick off their 2023 season on Monday Night Football, hosting Josh Allen and the Bills.
However, the most impressive takeaway is that Gang Green was rewarded with six games on the national stage. The last time the Jets appeared and even scored a touchdown on Sunday Night Football was Week 10 of the 2011 season against the Patriots.
After opening the season on Monday Night Football, New York will welcome the Super Bowl Champion Chiefs on Sunday night in Week 4.
The full NFL 2023 season schedule was released on Thursday, including all Thursday night, Sunday night and Monday night primetime games.
Most teams have multiple primetime games throughout the season, with even the Jets reaching the maximum of six nationally broadcasted games.
However, there were four NFL teams that were notably missing from the primetime spots this year: the Texans, Cardinals, Colts and Falcons. All four teams had some of the worst records in the league last season.

The NFL schedule has been set for 2023. We’ve known the matchups since the end of the regular season, but with dates and times attached, fans can start making their plans for road trips and tailgates outside the home stadium alike.
For every contender in the AFC, the season projects as a gauntlet. That’s especially true for the Bills, Dolphins, Jets and Patriots in the AFC East, who will face the AFC West along with the NFC East.
It’s been long time coming but, after more than a decade, the Jets will finally make their return to Sunday Night Football, as announced during Thursday’s 2023 schedule release.
For Jets fans, who haven’t seen their team play an SNF matchup since 2011, the countdown to facing the reigning Super Bowl champion Chiefs in Week 4 and Raiders in Week 10 will likely feel like an eternity, albeit one with an exciting build-up with Aaron Rodgers in the fold.
NBA MVP voter Mark Jackson is watching basketball with his eyes closed.
The ESPN broadcaster sparked backlash on NBA Twitter after sharing his top-five NBA players in MVP voting this season.
Jackson somehow left out Denver’s Nikola Jokic from his list — a surefire top-five player for the 99 other MVP voters. Add that Jokic helped the Nuggets claim the West’s top seed, and Jackson’s snub is something to question.

The AFC is loaded with quarterbacks. The top four rookie signal-callers will all play each other.
Honestly, the NFL schedule release is one of the more overrated events on the league’s calendar. I love the NFL and I’ll take any content I can get, especially in May. Still, it’s hard to get too excited for events that are months away. But credit to the Los Angeles Chargers for taking this opportunity to absolutely CRUSH the Las Vegas Raiders.
Earlier in the day on Thursday, the Chargers released their annual “Our opponents as Pop-Tarts” Twitter thread. Some are funny, some aren’t. I won’t put them all here, but if you want you can check out the thread on Twitter.
As NFL fans finally learned of their team’s full 2023 schedule on Thursday, the big reveal drew a contentious reaction from Seahawks fans over a notably tough stretch of games scheduled for the final seven weeks of the season.
Seattle, the NFC’s No. 7 seed in 2022, will enter the pivotal final month of the campaign facing a brutal Week 11 to Week 13 schedule. After facing the Rams on the road on Nov. 19, the Seahawks will play back-to-back Thursday night games, first against the visiting 49ers in a primetime Thanksgiving Day matchup on Nov. 23 followed by the Cowboys in a Nov.
