According to a new report, Toyota could be coming back to F1
Toyota last appeared on the Formula 1 grid in 2009, with their eight-year run in the sport coming to a close at the 2009 Abu Dhabi Grand Prix. Toyota finished fifth in the 2009 Constructors’ Championship but with the Toyota F1 team’s parent company suffering severe financial losses that calendar year, the decision was made to pull out of the sport in November of 2009.
The eight-year run for Toyota never produced a victory.

EA Sports appears to have seriously botched its handling of getting Arch Manning into “College Football 25.”
The backup Texas QB announced Tuesday that he will be in the first college football game from EA Sports in 11 years after initially opting out.
The announcement quickly went viral and was all over social media. The lone notable holdout is now in the game. It’s positive news…..but EA Sports might have set itself up for future problems.

NASCAR officials issued a penalty Wednesday for an on-track infraction after the checkered flag of last weekend’s NASCAR Cup Series race at the Chicago Street Course. Bubba Wallace, driver of the No. 23 23XI Racing Toyota, was fined $50,000 for violating Sections 4.4.B & D: NASCAR Member Code of Conduct during Sunday’s Grant Park 165.

Tampa Bay Rays shortstop Wander Franco was formally charged in the Dominican Republic for sexual abuse and sexually exploiting a minor. Wander is set to go on trial and could potentially face a maximum of five years behind bars if convicted.
ESPN’s Jeff Passan relayed the update (via Juan Arturo Recio), casting further doubt about Franco’s future in MLB as the recipient of the biggest contract in Rays franchise history.
Franco has been on leave since Aug. 2023 after allegations surfaced of the All-Star player exploiting a 14-year-old girl in the Dominican Republic.
