Where many people expected the Titans to try and trade up to take a quarterback in the First Round of the NFL Draft, they went with a lineman instead. The quarterback came 22 picks later.
With the No. 11 pick, Tennessee selected Peter Skoronski out of Northwestern. The 6-foot-4, 315-pounder played tackle in college, but is being used at a few different positions during his first season on the professional level.

On Sunday, the Grizzlies suspended star point guard Ja Morant after the two-time All-Star was seen holding a gun on an Instagram Live video Saturday. The move marks the second time this year that Morant has been suspended for displaying a gun on video.
“We are aware of the social media video involving Ja Morant,” the Grizzlies said in a statement. “He is suspended from all team activities pending league review. We have no further comment at this time.

The Bucks are expected to interview Mark Jackson for their vacant head coach position, The Athletic’s Shams Charania reports.
Jackson spent three seasons as head coach of the Warriors from 2011 to ’14, accumulating a 121-109 record and two playoff appearances. Despite winning 98 games over his last two seasons, Golden State fired Jackson and hired Steve Kerr, who would lead the team to a championship the following season.
When he hasn’t coached, Jackson has worked as an NBA analyst for ESPN since he retired in 2004.

When we look back at the 2022-23 Premier League season, Sunday will likely be the day when the title race was decided.

The Dolphins are signing offensive lineman Isaiah Wynn on a one-year deal, NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport reports.
The Patriots drafted Wynn out of Georgia in the first round with the 23rd pick of the 2018 NFL draft. The offensive tackle tore his Achilles in the preseason of his rookie season, which forced him to miss the year. He then played the next four seasons with New England.
Since 2019, Wynn played in 43 games for the Patriots, starting in 40 of them, primarily at left tackle. He dealt with injuries throughout his time in New England, battling feet and knee ailments.

Becoming a professional athlete requires a lot of strong personality traits. Yes, we laud athletes with ridiculous physical attributes. But often we overlook the mental side. Former first-round pick Shane Ray, out of the NFL since the 2018-19 season, returns to the league thanks to unbelievable perseverance and commitment to excellence.
Ray won a Super Bowl with the Broncos in 2015, his rookie season. He forced a fumble in the game. But after playing in 33 games over his first two seasons (including playoffs), injuries took their toll.
