The WNBA seems hellbent on making sure that it doesn’t grow too much at a time when the league is seeing unprecedented attention. The WNBA has changed its media policy to allow teams to designate two players who are exempt from shootaround media availability on game days. 
The Chicago Sky have already informed reporters that it plans to exercise that exemption on rookies Angel Reese and Kamilla Cardoso. 
As of now, we don’t know whether any other teams in the WNBA plan to utilize this exemption for any other players.

In case you needed more examples of why traditional outlets like the Los Angeles Times are dying a rapid death, its attack on the Los Angeles Dodgers by its “climate columnist” may be the best yet.
No one would accuse the Dodgers of not being sufficiently progressive; after all, they spit in the faces of Catholic fans in 2023 by honoring a drag group that hatefully mocks Catholicism and Christianity. But as the Dodgers are hopefully now learning, you can never pander enough to placate the far left.

Englishman Lee Westwood is fed up with the current schism surrounding professional golf, as the PGA Tour tries to strike a deal with LIV Golf’s beneficiary, the Saudi Public Investment Fund (PIF).
Westwood wants the best players to play side-by-side in every tournament, not just in the majors.

Before Hull and Hall play for Great Britain in the Olympics, these two best friends will take on the LPGA Dow Championship.
Charley Hull and Georgia Hall are best friends who grew up playing golf together and are both LPGA veterans.
This week, they paired up for the LPGA Dow Championship, a multi-format stroke-play team event at Midland Country Club in Midland, Michigan.
In rounds one and three, the ladies will play foursomes or alternate shot.
