The ESPN personality has his eyes on another show.
Stephen A. Smith has become one of the primary voices on ESPN, but the talking head has his eyes on a bigger job.
While appearing on Fox News with Sean Hannity, Smith said he would like to take over for Jimmy Kimmel doing late night TV.
“I am interested in doing late night,” Smith said. “I would love to be the heir apparent to Jimmy Kimmel. I believe I could do it. I would throw everybody for a loop, my politics would throw people off because I’d be fair to everybody and I’d listen to everybody.

Technically, there are eight teams left with a chance to win this year’s Super Bowl.

The club has opted to put a number of interviews on hold in the wake of Anton Walkes’s death.
The Panthers have opted to postpone their interview with Sean Payton regarding the team’s head coaching vacancy in the wake of the death of Charlotte FC defender Anton Walkes, according to The Athletic’s Joe Person.
Walkes died in a boating accident in Miami on Wednesday. He was 25 years old. 
Panthers owners David Tepper also owns Charlotte FC, the club that Walkes made 23 appearances with during the 2022 season.

The “Wooooo’s” may have finally ended.
Legendary wrestler-turned pop culture favorite, Ric Flair, says he has no intention to return to wrestling.
The news comes after online reports that Ric Flair was looking to lace up his boots one last time.
“I don’t know why they keep saying I’m begging for another match,” Ric Flair said. “What I have said to you repeatedly, I wish I could redo that [his final] match. I’m not begging for another match. I don’t want to wrestle again; I have no desire,” Flair told the To Be The Man Podcast.
