Scottie Scheffler and Rory McIlroy, ranked 1 and 2 in the Official World Golf Ranking, are committed to the 2025 Texas Children’s Houston Open.
With the Valspar Championship concluding in Florida on Sunday, Texas will next host back-to-back PGA Tour stops, the final two tournaments before the Masters.
Scheffler has two second-place ties and a tie for ninth in his last three visits to Houston.
McIlroy, who won the Players Championship in a Monday finish six days ago, is back in action after a week off. He’ll make his first appearance in Houston in 11 years.

It’s Sunday, March 23, and the Philadelphia 76ers (23-47) and Atlanta Hawks (34-36) are all set to square off from State Farm Arena in Atlanta.
The 76ers are currently 11-25 on the road with a point differential of -5, while the Hawks have a 6-4 record in their last ten games at home. Atlanta won the only meeting of the season 132-123 on March 10. This is the second of three matchups.
Atlanta has won two straight games and four of the past six, including last night’s win over the Warriors. Philadelphia lost three straight and six of the previous seven games entering this meeting.

Confirmed Lineups: Italy vs. Germany
Germany look to complete their job when they host historical rivals Italy in Dortmund tonight. Julian Nagelsamann’s side made four changes from the side that started midweek’s 2-1 win in Milan.
As expected, Tim Kleindienst, who netted Germany’s equalizer immediately after coming on as a half-time substitute, replaces Jonathan Burkardt up front. On the other end of the pitch, Nico Schlotterbeck starts, while David Raum sits on the bench. 
Nagelsmann made those similar changes before the start of the second-half on Thursday.

Billy Horschel is an eight-time PGA Tour winner, a former FedEx Cup champion, and currently ranked 20th in the world. In other words, the man has hit a lot of world-class golf shots over the years, but the approach he hit into the fifth hole during Sunday’s final round of the Valspar Championship may stand above the rest.
After finding the fairway off the tee of the 614-yard hole, Horschel tugged his second shot into the left rough only to find his golf ball next to a tree.

Former New York Yankees star Brett Gardner and his wife, Jessica, announced on Sunday that their 14-year-old son, Miller Gardner, passed away after falling ill while on a family vacation.
According to the Gardners’ statement, released by the Yankees on X, Miller and “several other family members” became ill while on vacation.

Dezmon Briscoe of Crispus Attucks, previously committed to Iowa, posted on his social media account on Sunday he will open up his commitment from the Hawkeyes following the coaching change from Fran McCaffery. He said he will “continue to consider (Iowa) as I move forward,” though the Big Ten school has not hired McCaffery’s replacement yet.

SUN VALLEY, Idaho (AP) — Lindsey Vonn concluded her comeback season at age 40 with a second-place finish in a World Cup super-G race Sunday that was won by Swiss standout Lara Gut-Behrami.
Vonn found her vintage form while flying down the twisting and steep Challenger course at the World Cup finals. The American pumped her ski poles after glancing at the scoreboard as the large crowd roared.
This was Vonn’s first World Cup podium spot since March 15, 2018, when she finished third in a super-G in Are, Sweden. Vonn came out of retirement this season after a partial knee replacement.
