Welcome to the best college football Saturday of the year – the Army-Navy game. It’s the best. Frankly, nothing beats it.
Sure, you only get one college football game today. The playoffs don’t start until next week. It’s a “down” week for the sport in that sense.
But as far as patriotism goes? Buddy, you ain’t beating today. The Army-Navy game will have us all ready to go to battle in a few hours. We’ll all be ready to run through a brick wall. When’s the next draft? We’re in!

Montana State QB Tommy Mellott continues to be college football’s best kept secret.
While Mellott might be a familiar name among diehard FCS fans and people in Montana, he definitely doesn’t have the same name recognition as stars at the FBS level.
It’s understandable. The FCS is a lower division of college football that lacks proper attention due to not having a national state until the postseason.
However, that doesn’t change the fact Tommy Mellott is a freak of nature, and it’s time for us to give him the attention he deserves.

Army and Navy will take the field Saturday in a game that will captivate the attention of the country.
The battle between the Black Knights and Midshipmen is one of the greatest rivalries in college football. It also represents a lot more than just football.
It’s a game between young men who will wear a different uniform after graduation. They’ll wear the uniform of the United States military and have all signed up to defend this country and our great freedoms.
It’s simply a different kind of game.

NFL Hall of Famer and ESPN broadcaster Randy Moss can add cancer survivor to the life challenges that he’s been able to overcome. The 47-year-old revealed to fans yesterday that he recently underwent surgery for a cancerous tumor that was found near his pancreas and liver.
“I am a cancer survivor,” the former Minnesota Vikings and Patriots wide receiver announced via Instagram Live Friday, “Some trying times, but we made it through.

The Fighting Irish look a lot like the most talented team in women’s college basketball.
SOUTH BEND, IND. — Hannah Hidalgo counted the points on her fingers. Notre Dame’s pint-sized sophomore supernova had just drilled a corner three off a feed from Olivia Miles to give the Irish a 10-point lead on the UConn Huskies mid-way through the second quarter of a nationally televised clash of power programs.

JB Bickerstaff, Erik Spoelstra, and Doc Rivers are just a few of the NBA coaches struck by how a star-studded Celtics squad has embraced selfless basketball.
BOSTON — Just how unselfish are the Boston Celtics?
The standard numbers don’t pop out. The Celtics average 26 assists per game — good for 14th in the NBA. And only the Clippers have a higher isolation frequency.
But, when opposing coaches are preparing to play against Boston, they’re routinely struck by the selflessness they observe in their film reviews.

Some people in life know how to go the extra mile to help someone. Tennessee Titans cornerback Jarvis Brownlee Jr. is one of those people.
Brownlee Jr. has had himself a solid rookie season for Tennessee. Selected in the fifth round of last year’s NFL Draft, he’s recorded one interception, eight passes defensed and 55 total tackles. He’s certainly making a positive impression on the field for the Titans, even though the team as a whole isn’t doing that great.
Earlier this week, he showed that he’s not just limiting his impact to what happens on Sundays, Brownlee Jr.

It took three days for the woke mob to turn on Caitlin Clark. That’s right. Three days. Seventy-two hours.
You see? This is why you cannot give these lunatics an inch. Not one inch. You do that, they’ll take a mile. The left always goes too far. They have a good thing going, and then BAM – they get too wacky, and everything eventually evens out.
That’s what happened last night, when some loony chick named Sheila Johnson – Google tells me she’s the co-owner of the Washington Mystics – actually COMPLAINED TO CNN about Clark being on the cover of Time Magazine.
