Detroit Lions coach Dan Campbell made it clear his defense wasn’t going to tolerate any funny business with Bears QB Caleb Williams.
The Lions beat the Bears 23-20 on Thanksgiving to improve to 11-1 on the season, and one of the most notable moments of the game was Williams getting jacked up by Lions LB Jack Campbell.
The Bears rookie passer seemingly wanted to play games near the sideline, and it resulted in him getting crushed in the lower body by Campbell.
Well, Dan Campbell was well aware that Williams might try to juke players near the sidelines.

Over a decade ago, basketball trainer Adam Harrington began a long relationship with Kevin Durant. Durant was in the midst of an MVP season on the Oklahoma City Thunder — and Harrington was one of the team’s player development coaches.
The two instantly hit it off.

Max Verstappen and George Russell take their feud to a new level ahead of the F1 season finale
The 2024 Formula 1 season draws to a close this weekend, with the year-ending Abu Dhabi Grand Prix.
And it might not come a moment too soon for some.
The war of words between Max Verstappen and George Russell that began last week at the Qatar Grand Prix escalated on Thursday in Abu Dhabi, as drivers met with the media for the final time this season.
Holy cow, we’re already in … December? My God. It’s coming. Winter is coming. We’re closer to the end of the season than the middle of it, and buddy, it makes me SAD.
Enjoy this month. Cherish it. The winter and spring and summer all go by so slowwwwwwwwwww. The Fall, of course, goes by so freaking fast that if you blink, you’ll miss it.
Sad. December is an elite month on the sports calendar, but it’s also a sad one. With each passing Saturday and Sunday, you’re one weekend closer to trying to get into college basketball before March. Yuck.
The Oregon Ducks look like the team is dressing for a funeral in the Big Ten title game.
The Ducks will play the Penn State Nittany Lions this Saturday to crown a B1G champion. Not too bad for the program’s first year in the conference.
Not bad at all, and Dan Lanning’s team will be rolling in style when they take the field at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
The Ducks tweeted the team’s uniform combination Wednesday night for fans to take a look at, and the combo is epic.
Oregon will wear black uniforms with green helmets Saturday against the Nittany Lions.

The Lions, Vikings, and Eagles can all secure playoff berths as they are the three-team race for the No. 1 seed in the NFC.
This week brings some significant matchups, opening with the Lions hosting the Packers in a huge Thursday Night Football tilt.

The Hero World Challenge, hosted by Tiger Woods in the Bahamas, begins Thursday in the Bahamas. Here are the starting times and TV schedule.
Tiger Woods is back in the Bahamas for the Hero World Challenge, but the 15-time major winner will not be teeing it up.
Instead, he will peruse the property as the tournament host while 20 of the top players in the world compete for the $1 million awarded to the winner.
World No.
The Seahawks (rapidly improving defense), Cardinals (efficient offense) and Rams (relentless pass rush) are all vying to usurp the back-to-back division champions.
Read the room a bit. NFL defender Azeez Al-Shaair is showing a serious lack of class or intelligence in the aftermath of committing a reckless, much-debated hit on Jacksonville Jaguars’ Trevor Lawrence.
Al-Shaair, a linebacker for the Texans, knocked Lawrence out of Sunday’s game with a forceful and illegal hit to the QB’s head.
SEE FOR YOURSELF:
As a follow-up … late Wednesday, Al-Shaair responded to the backlash he’s received by posting a ridiculously dumb message pointed at his haters.
Mind you, Al-Shaair received a three-game suspension by the NFL for his hit.
