The former Los Angeles Sparks head coach — and one of the most experienced coaches in WNBA history — is making the transition to general manager.
Curt Miller — who was the head coach of the Los Angeles Sparks for the past two WNBA seasons — has been named general manager of the Dallas Wings.
Miller was fired after two seasons in Los Angeles in which he accrued a 25-55 coaching record. Prior to his time on the Sparks, Miller was the head coach of the Connecticut Sun for 7 seasons, and before that, he was a Sparks assistant.

But Allen will be without one of his key targets when the game kicks off at Lucas Oil Stadium.
Rookie wide receiver Keon Coleman, who has caught 22 passes this season for 417 yards and three touchdowns, will be out for Sunday’s game against Indianapolis.

UFC fighter Michael Chandler is hoping Donald Trump can bring his winning ways to him next weekend when the lightweight fighter faces off against Charles Oliveira at UFC 309 at Madison Square Garden Saturday, November 16th.
That’s because according to Chandler, Trump said that he would be in attendance if he defeated Kamala Harris in this past week’s Presidential election!
Speaking with TMZ Sports, the 23-8 lightweight fighter – who is an adamant Trump supporter, said that based on his conversation with the future President, he believes he’ll be there rooting him on.

Rory McIlroy had everything going for him on Friday Abu Dhabi, but then a triple bogey on the 17th hole soured his round.
Rory McIlroy stood on the 17th tee at 12-under par for the tournament, having made seven birdies already on the day. He was on fire, relying on his new swing change to plot his way around the Yas Links in Abu Dhabi and charge up the leaderboard.
