MIAMI — Jimmy Butler didn’t bother to take one look back in the direction of his old bench, his old mates, or that old floor that he set afire for many a spring night.
The emotion of Tuesday night, his return to Miami after an electric and combustible five-and-a-half-year run, was more muted than overwhelming. It wasn’t even smoldering.
“It was behind me a long time ago,” Butler said. “As soon as I ended up a Golden State Warrior, everything that went on was dead.

ST.
LOUIS – It’s getting to the point of running out of superlatives
to describe the St. Louis Blues these days.
The
Blues aren’t just on a heater, they’re blow torch scorching hot,
extending their season-high seventh straight win when they blew out
the Montreal Canadiens, 6-1, on Tuesday at Enterprise Center.
Going
in, this was a matchup of the two hottest teams since the 4 Nations
Face-Off, and each team had vaulted itself into the second wild card
from each respective conference.
But
from the opening puck drop, it wasn’t even close.

Mary Fowler momentarily looks down and holds up a very neat yellow square of knitting to the camera, two wooden needles poking out either side.
The Australia international is making a scarf, having been recently taught by her Manchester City team-mate, third-choice goalkeeper Katie Startup.
“I thought, ‘This is great’, because I wanted to make my own clothes,” says Fowler, speaking to the morning after City’s 2-0 quarter-final first-leg Champions League win over Chelsea. “It’s quite addictive.

Video – Inter Milan Trio Posing In Front Of Cameras: “Ready, Set, Action”
Inter Milan stars Lautaro Martinez, Josep Martinez, and Joaquin Correa recently posed for cameras for another Team Talk episode.
Despite struggling with a muscle injury, Lautaro Martinez is still contributing to Inter’s growth off the pitch.
Indeed, El Toro has been the symbol of this Nerazzurri generation and rightfully wears the captain’s armband.
Meanwhile, Josep Martinez is still fighting for his place in Simone Inzaghi’s starting line-up.
As for Joaquin Correa, he’ll leave the San Siro in June.

There’s a lot of pre-draft chatter about the San Francisco 49ers potentially trading wide receiver Brandon Aiyuk, and it doesn’t quite make sense.
Perhaps the 49ers front office still isn’t thrilled with how Aiyuk’s contract negotiations went last offseason. It would makes sense considering he admitted to intentionally dragging the contract talks out longer than they needed to go. They nearly traded him to the Pittsburgh Steelers last offseason before eventually signing him to a four-year deal worth up to $120 million.
This offseason is a different story.

Bronny James has come a long way in just a few months. As recently as January, while he was occasionally showing some signs of promise in the G League, there were still many people who doubted he had what it took to eventually become a legitimate NBA rotation player.
But lately, he seems to be starting to prove those doubters wrong. He still has a long way to go before he proves beyond a shadow of a doubt that he belongs in the NBA, but last Thursday, he dropped 17 points on 7-of-10 shooting for the Los Angeles Lakers.

A fresh and rejuvenated Florida Panthers squad will get back to work on Wednesday following some welcomed down time.
After playing seven games in 12 days, six of which were on the road, the schedule-makers afforded the Panthers a four-day gap between home games.
The down time could be crucial for the Cats, who are fighting to maintain their spot leading the Atlantic Division as the Stanley Cup Playoffs draw closer by the day.
Florida has only 11 games remaining on their regular season schedule, starting on Friday when they host the Utah Hockey Club in Sunrise.

The Miami Heat thrashed the Golden State Warriors 112-86 on Tuesday, handing Jimmy Butler a stinging loss in his first game against his old club since his acrimonious exit.
Butler, who was traded away to Golden State in February after a series of bust-ups with the Heat management, finished with just 11 points as the Warriors offense struggled to click.
