Carolina reportedly is considering the Alabama QB and Ohio State star C.J. Stroud for the No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL draft.
After taking in C.J. Stroud’s pro day in Ohio on Wednesday morning, the brass of the Carolina Panthers is on its way to Alabama this evening to meet with Bryce Young.
The Panthers brain trust will be joining the former Alabama star for dinner on the eve of the Crimson Tide’s pro day in Tuscaloosa, according to Sports Illustrated’s Albert Breer.

NFL free agent and tight end Foster Moreau, 25, revealed that he was diagnosed with cancer following a routine physical with the New Orleans Saints.
Moreau, who played with the Las Vegas Raiders for the past four seasons, also visited the Cincinnati Bengals in free agency before visiting New Orleans.
In a Twitter thread posted Wednesday afternoon, Moreau said he will be stepping away from football to seek treatment for Hodgkin’s Lymphoma.
“Through somewhat of a miraculous process, this free agency period has been life-changing for me,” Moreau tweeted.

Star quarterback C.J. Stroud threw at Ohio State’s pro day on Wednesday. The potential No. 1 pick in the 2023 NFL draft had representatives from 30 of the league’s 32 teams in attendance for his workout, including the Panthers, who own the top pick in April. 
After completing his drills, Stroud was seen talking to members of the Panthers organization, including head coach Frank Reich and quarterbacks coach Josh McCown.
