Keith Olbermann is calling for ESPN to fire Pat McAfee for jokingly calling Canada a “terrible country” during a scripted WWE event over the weekend.
On Saturday, WWE hosted the Elimination Chamber in Toronto where fans booed the signing of the National Anthem. McAfee, a color analyst for WWE, responded later in the show:
“Kind of sucks that it’s in the terrible country of Canada, which booed our national anthem to start this entire thing. But it’s going to be a historic night for the WWE.

Nebraska football coach Matt Rhule doesn’t want anything to do with TikTok.
Rhule is doing a nice job of turning around the Cornhuskers after years and years of terribly disappointing seasons.
He still has a long way to go, but there’s no doubt the Cornhuskers are trending up. He might have some weak views on scheduling, but know something he doesn’t have weak views on?
TikTok.
Matt Rhule appeared on “The Pat McAfee Show” this past Thursday, and he shared a pretty epic story.

The Cincinnati Bengals aren’t going to start losing players without a fight, so on Monday afternoon they applied the franchise tag to receiver Tee Higgins as a step toward perhaps keeping the outstanding receiver for at least one more season.
Higgins broke the news of the tag on his social media feed.
Higgins gave no commentary on exactly how he feels about the tag. It obviously isn’t what he was hoping to get – which was either a contract or a chance to test the market in free agency.
The tag immediately costs the Bengals $26.

Unrivaled is just a few weeks away from completion, and the league announced an extensive injury report on Monday afternoon ahead of the evenings match-ups between the Rose and Laces, and between the Phantom and Lunar Owls.
To help mitigate injuries, the league has signed players to relief contracts, bringing in WNBA players like NaLyssa Smith, Natasha Hiedeman, and Betnijah Laney-Hamilton at various points this season.

When President Donald Trump signed an executive order titled “Keeping Men out of Women’s Sports,” that wasn’t just for show.
Trump vowed during his campaign to ban males from competing in girls’ and women’s sports and his order threatened the loss of federal funding to states that refused to comply.
Since then, several states have openly defied the order and Trump’s Department of Education is not letting that slide.
Previously, the DOE announced Title IX investigations into California, Minnesota and Maine.

The Ohio State women’s basketball lost its regular season finale on the road at Maryland on Sunday, and Buckeyes’ leading scorer Cotie McMahon elected to show her frustration in a rather unique and wildly vulgar way.
McMahon scored 18 points and snagged five rebounds in Ohio State’s overtime loss, but fouled out with 14 seconds left in the extra fame. After grabbing a seat on the bench, McMahon appeared to hear something from the opposing fans that she didn’t appreciate and flipped the double bird in their direction.
