We’ve got a $64 million “He said, B’s said” situation involving the Boston Bruins and goaltender Jeremy Swayman.
Swayman was part of the league’s best goalie tandem along with former Vezina Trophy winner Linus Ullmark for the last few seasons. However, the Bruins traded Ullmark to the Ottawa Senators for a first-round pick, center Mark Kastelic, and (crucially as we’ll get to in a second) netminder Joonas Korpisalo.
This set a path for Swayman to go from being the Bruins 1B goalie to being their unquestioned starter, however, there’s a problem.

Playing the most snaps in a game thus far, Brown saw a team-high nine targets come his way in Week 5, with almost every one of them coming deep.
Alabama Crimson Tide true freshman cornerback Zabien Brown faced the biggest test of his young career this past weekend, going up against the No. 1 Georgia Bulldogs in just his fourth-ever college game.
Brown, a five-star recruit in the Class of 2024, immediately impressed the coaching staff this offseason, leading to him playing a significant role from Week 1 onwards in the Crimson Tide secondary.

This could be a class we talk about for YEARS.
The hype leading up to the 2024 NFL Draft at wide receiver was based entirely on the generational talent of Marvin Harrison Jr. and the game-breaking potential of Malik Nabers. Sure, there were other guys deeper in the draft who had promise, but outside of those top two players and maybe Rome Odunze there wasn’t a lot of faith this class would be all that special.

Following Sunday’s loss to the Cincinnati Bengals, some loser Carolina Panthers fan decided to pour a drink all over Bengals running back Chase Brown as he headed toward his team’s locker room.
Generally, I don’t like to name-call people, but dumping a drink on an NFL player because he played well against the home team is loser behavior. There’s no other way to say it.
And, not that this even matters, but it’s not as if Brown antagonized Panthers fans on his way off the field, either.

It’s a good time to be a Commanders fan. We don’t get to say that often.
Another week in the NFL is in the books and the Power Rankings are largely unchanged at the top. The Chiefs are once again the most dominant team in the league, but we’ll need to see how long they can keep their spot with Rashee Rice now hurt.
Meanwhile the Vikings won’t stop surging and move into the No. 2 spot.

Another weekend of college football is in the books, and it certainly delivered. Whether it was Georgia and Alabama delivering an instant classic, or Kentucky upsetting No. 6 Ole Miss, it was another exciting few days of ball.
Now, thanks to you guys overwhelming my email and DMs, I had to pick the most important questions to answer, coming off a wild few days. There’s a lot to discuss as we move ahead.

Ole Miss welcomed Kentucky to Oxford on Saturday as more than two touchdown favorites but looked up at the scoreboard when the clock hit zeros as 20-17 losers. While it wouldn’t be entirely accurate to call it a bad day at the home office for the Ole Miss offense, the Rebels and quarterback Jaxson Dart were never able to find a rhythm against the Wildcats, and some of that frustration seems to be looming days after the team’s loss.
The Rebels out gained the Wildcats 353-336 on Saturday, but that statistic does not come close to painting a picture of the contest.
