The person running social media for the Detroit Lions deserves a raise.
The Lions beat the Seahawks 42-29 Monday night to improve to 3-1, and the team made sure to keep the receipts once the clock hit zero.
Prior to the game, Seahawks linebacker Tyrel Dodson was caught on camera shouting, “These mother*ckers ain’t tough!”
Whoops!
If you’re going to run your mouth talking about how a team isn’t tough, you better go out there and win. If you do it and lose, then you’re going to get lit up.
That’s exactly what happened once the game was over.

Draymond Green and a reporter got into a very awkward exchange Monday.
The Golden State Warriors star was speaking to the media ahead of the new NBA season starting when a reporter noted people are “worried about him.”
It seemed like a rather vanilla comment given Green’s history of being suspended and history of injuries. The talented basketball player didn’t take it that way at all.
He seemed to take it personally, and told the reporter “there are way more people in this world to worry about than me.

In a great matchup of quarterbacks, Jared Goff went 18-of-18 while Geno Smith threw for nearly 400 yards.

You could make an argument the Vikings have performed like the best team in the NFL this season, but that doesn’t mean they’re No. 1.

Take this with a grain of salt, but internet sleuths are suspicious of Raiders head coach Antonio Pierce’s thoughts on keeping star wideout Davante Adams after liking a post about the latter’s potential departure.
Sports Illustrated’s Michael Fabiano posted a screenshot on Monday showing Pierce liking an Instagram post suggesting Adams is on the trade block for Las Vegas.
