World-number-one Nelly Korda will play at Liberty National for the first time this week, as she looks to return to the winner’s circle.
Nelly Korda’s winning streak came to a screeching halt at last week’s Cognizant Founders Cup, where Rose Zhang prevailed by two over Madelene Sagstrom.
Korda still played relatively well, finishing in a tie for seventh, but she fell short of her high expectations.

Alex Albon has signed a new deal with Williams as another piece of the Formula 1 driver market puzzle for 2025 and beyond falls into place. You’d think nothing would stop someone from putting their John Hancock on a new F1 deal, but Albon almost put it on the back burner because he had plans to smooch some stingrays.
Albon signed a multi-year deal to stick with Williams which means he will be part of the team when F1 introduces new regulations in 2026 — which could shake up the current pecking order — come into play in 2026.

Another cover for “College Football 25” reportedly has hit the web.
Hype around the game has been off the charts, and EA Sports has struggled to maintain secrecy in recent days. The deluxe version cover leaked last week, and it now appears another one has as well.
The release date for the cover is set for Thursday. It looks like that’s no longer necessary.
Hayes Fawcett tweeted a photo Wednesday that allegedly shows the standard cover featuring Quinn Ewers, Travis Hunter and Donovan Edwards.

It’s incredibly cheap to attend Caitlin Clark’s first regular season game at home with the Indiana Fever.
The Fever are coming off a blowout loss Tuesday night to the Connecticut Sun, and it was a rough first game for Clark.
While she had 20 points, she also had 10 turnovers. The transition from college to the WNBA is underway and there’s some early bumps.
Now, the Fever will look to bounce back against the New York Liberty, and the get-in price is wildly reasonable.

From free agency, to the draft, and more.
Great news if you’re the kind of sicko who needs more Hard Knocks in your life. On Wednesday morning HBO announced that the New York Giants will be featured in a new version of the series titled Hard Knocks: Offseason with the New York Giants.
The show will chronicle the Giants’ moves from the end of the season in January, up through the conclusion of the NFL Draft — hopefully showing more of how the sausage is made away from training camp.

The Connecticut Sun didn’t waste any time roasting the new guys when fans rolled into their arena — which led to their first sold-out home opener in over 20 years — to see Caitlin Clark and the visiting Indiana Fever.
I love innovations in Jumbotron entertainment. We’ve gone from the “Kiss Cam” to the “Backwards Eating Cam” and beyond. This time the Sun got some shots in at Fever fans with the debut of their “Bandwagon Cam.”
My first thought upon seeing that was, “That’s hilarious.

If you are the resistance fighting the advance of streaming platforms invading your NFL watching experience, you just took another hit.
You and your wallet are in retreat.
The NFL on Wednesday announced a new deal to sell games to Netflix the next three seasons. So the streaming service will feature two games on Christmas Day this year, and then it will stream at least one holiday game in 2025 and again in 2026.
Netflix outbid multiple platforms for the rights to the Christmas Day games, per an NFL source.

The PGA Championship employs the strongest field in golf, but it also features plenty of dark horses.
The PGA Championship has produced plenty of longshot winners over the years.
Shaun Micheel at Oak Hill in 2003, Y.E. Yang at Hazeltine in 2009, and most recently, Phil Mickelson at Kiawah Island in 2021 immediately come to mind.
But plenty of favorites or headliners win too. Look no further than Brooks Koepka a year ago.
At any rate, anyone can win this tournament, which boasts the strongest field in golf each year.
