Dallas has reworked the deals of two offensive stars ahead of the start of free agency next week.
Ahead of the start of NFL free agency next week, the Cowboys have restructured the contracts of quarterback Dak Prescott and guard Zack Martin, according to a report from ESPN’s Field Yates.
The Cowboys were projected to be around $18 million over the salary cap for 2023, but the contract moves for Prescott and Martin created around $30 million in cap space.
Prescott was set to have a 2023 cap number of $49.

Former Chiefs wide receiver Otis Taylor has died, the team announced on Friday. He was 80 years old
Taylor attended Prairie View A&M and was drafted by the Chiefs in the fourth round of the AFL draft and the Eagles in round 15 of the NFL draft in 1965. The wide receiver chose the Chiefs, and he played his entire career in Kansas City from 1965 to ’75, leading the league with 1,110 receiving yards in ’71 and making three Pro Bowls or AFL All Star games.

Bills wide receiver Stefon Diggs was seen getting into a verbal altercation with quarterback Josh Allen during Buffalo’s playoff loss to Cincinnati, and it’s clear that the star pass catcher is growing impatient with the team’s lack of postseason success.
Diggs joined HBO’s The Shop this week, and didn’t shy away from expressing his frustration at the team’s continuous playoff exits.
“It doesn’t make sense,” Diggs said, per Bills reporter Sal Capaccio.

Georgia Tech is firing men’s basketball coach Josh Pastner, Jeff Goodman of Stadium reports.
After seven years at Memphis, Pastner joined Georgia Tech ahead of the 2016–17 season replacing Brian Gregory. In seven seasons with the Yellow Jackets, Pastner only surpassed 20 wins one time, his first year with the program. Additionally, Georgia Tech’s highlight under Pastner was a 17–9 season in 2020–21, which ended with an ACC tournament championship for the first time since 1993.

Well, Syracuse and Jim Boeheim finally got it right on the third try Friday.
It wasn’t a charm, but it was better.
