The 2025 motorsports calendar is getting underway with the 24 Hours of Daytona a couple of weeks ago and a bunch of series getting underway over the next few weeks, but one series I want to watch more of in 2025 is MotoGP.
I’ve dabbled in MotoGP over the years, and it is unbelievably exciting to watch, but it also makes me incredibly nervous.
The crashes are often horrific to the point where I’m like, “Maybe we should put a stop to this.

President Donald Trump, surrounded by dozens of pro-woman advocates including OutKick’s Riley Gaines, officially signed an executive order to, effectively, ban males from women’s sports and locker rooms.
In addition to adult advocates, Trump also invited many young female athletes to take part in the signing ceremony.
Now, it’s important to note that Trump’s order only applies to public institutions, like K-12 schools and colleges and universities, and not private sporting bodies.
When the Super Bowl rolls around most people wind up picking a side whether their team is playing or not, and the way that decision is made varies.
Sometimes it’s your spouse’s team that you cheer for.
Sometimes it’s that you visited one team’s home city and it was nice.

And it could just be that you prefer Philly cheesesteaks over Kansas City BBQ.
But it sounds like actor and comedian Michael Rapaport has gone a different route to pick a team for Super Bowl LIX.
It’s been a chaotic last week in the non-sports world, with President Donald Trump introducing tariffs on Canada, Mexico and China.
Trump’s announcement led to posturing, public statements and anger from the leadership of Canada and Mexico, though it was short-lived. Both countries agreed to deals with the United States to enhance protection on their borders, with tariffs being paused for 30 days.
Still though, in the brief 24 hours or so when it seemed like tariffs would come into effect, Canadians were furious.

The Super Bowl is basically the biggest sports, music, and culture podcast in the world. Sure it only has one show drop a year, but it’s a big one. The Big One, some might say.
While the majority of the focus will be obviously and rightfully focused on what happens during the game, there is so much going on around the game that even the most serious football watcher can’t avoid taking it in.

Most of the top available free agents have already signed — but there are a few standouts still available.
The majority of the WNBA’s top free agents have been signed — with stars like Alyssa Thomas and Satou Sabally joining the Phoenix Mercury, Kelsey Plum heading to the Los Angeles Sparks, and Kelsey Mitchell and Nneka Ogwumike re-signing with their previous teams.
But, free agency isn’t quite over yet. As of Feb. 5, there are still several highly impactful players who would instantly elevate any WNBA team.

Flag football is set to be part of the 2028 Olympics in Los Angeles, and is growing in popularity as a high school sport in the United States. The success of both of these iterations of flag football, plus a huge international footprint, has put flag football on the fast track to the big leagues and NFL teams could soon be leading the charge.
