As NFL draft season gets into high gear, analysts are getting into college tape for prospects in this year’s class. Kurt Warner began his work on this year’s quarterback class, and the Hall of Famer made an observation about college football that is sure to annoy some fans.
Warner, who spends each fall as an NFL analyst, criticized the quality of play at the college level for quarterbacks.
“I know many of you LOVE college football, but as I start to dive into these college QBs, it’s hard for me to even watch,” he said.
The 20-year-old guard is showing he has a bright future in Utah and in the NBA.
With the long-awaited comeback of EA Sports’ college football game becoming a reality later this year, details about the newest iteration of the series are beginning to be released, including the announcers who will be included in the game.
ESPN’s Chris Fowler and Kirk Herbstreit, who are recognized by most as ‘the voices of college football,’ will be a part of the commentary team in the game. Five other personalities have been confirmed to be in the game including Rece Davis, Jesse Palmer, Desmond Howard, Kevin Connors, and David Pollack.
An NHL referee is making the rounds this morning after hilariously warning St. Louis Blues fans that they weren’t going to like his call.
Halfway through the third period of Thursday’s Blues-Islanders game, St. Louis scored a questionable goal that went to video replay to see if it was done via a high stick or not. However, when referee Garrett Rank made his decision that he knew would be less than ideal for the St. Louis hometown faithful, he brought some jokes with him.
It doesn’t matter how many critics tell San Francisco 49ers quarterback Brock Purdy that he’s just a “game manager.” Purdy has since received praise from more relevant NFL figures, including Kansas City Chiefs defensive coordinator Steve Spagnuolo.
After the Chiefs’ 25–22 win over the 49ers in Super Bowl LVIII, Spagnuolo said he reached out to Purdy via text to send him an important message.
“I just texted Brock [Purdy] the other day,” Spagnuolo told Fox Sports’ Peter Schrager on Friday. “I tried to track down his number.
After a rough night against Indiana, Clark is 75 points away from topping Maravich with just a few games left on the schedule.
College football players at America’s military academies won’t be able to cash in on the upcoming college football video game.
EA Sports‘ first college football game since 2013 will hit shelves at some point this summer, and hype has officially hit a deafening level.
This will be the first ever college football players where the name and likeness of actual players will be used. Players who choose to participate reportedly will be paid $600 and receive a free copy of the game.
