Gary Patterson’s time in college football is over.
Well, it’s at least over for the time being.
The former TCU head coach turned special assistant to Texas head coach Steve Sarkisian has decided now is a good time to explore some other avenues in life.
After spending decades of his life involved with America’s greatest sport, Gary Patterson is ready to throw the towel in.
Gary Patterson leaves Texas after one season.
“I’m so appreciative of Steve Sarkisian, the players and fans for my time at Texas this past year. I loved my time in Austin.

The lead actor of the “Creed” movies directed newly-released “Creed III”, putting his stamp on the famed series from behind the camera.
Since Rocky premiered in 1976, the iconic boxing franchise has produced eight sequels or spin-offs. The latest, Creed III, is the first film in the series that doesn’t feature Sylvester Stallone’s Rocky Balboa (though Sly serves as one of its producers). That puts the focus of the movie—which opens March 3—squarely on the character of Adonis Creed, who is portrayed by Michael B. Jordan, the film’s director.

Let’s pick a winner in every men’s college basketball conference tournament.
March Madness is here, and with it begins the best postseason in American sports. Every team in DI college basketball has the opportunity to win the national championship as long as they keep winning, and that trek starts with the conference tournaments.
We saw one of the great runs in NCAA tournament history happen last year when Saint Peter’s ran all the way to the Elite Eight with upsets over Kentucky and Purdue.

If the veteran receiver is a cap casualty with the Chargers, he’d be a good fit with these teams.
Wide receiver has become the dominant position in all of fantasy football, as young players like Justin Jefferson, Ja’Marr Chase and CeeDee Lamb (to name a few) are lighting up the stat sheets. Unfortunately, NFL teams looking to make a major splash at the position will find it difficult to accomplish as the free agent market is a bit weak heading into the 2023 offseason. With that said, making a big splash trade these days can help fill a void.

Golden State Warriors forward and sucker-punch expert Draymond Green would like to see an end put to Black History Month. He doesn’t appreciate the fact that black history is celebrated in the month of February as it is tied with April as the shortest month on the calendar with 28 days.
Green, while wearing a ‘Built By Black History’ shirt the NBA mandated all teams to wear, shared his grand idea with the media following Golden State’s win over the Portland Trail Blazers on Tuesday.
“Black History Month, at some point, can we get rid of it?” Green awkwardly asked reporters.

Georgia pass rusher Nolan Smith can leave Indianapolis with his head held high
Watching the NFL Combine from inside Lucas Oil Stadium is a rather surreal experience.
Instead of the raucous atmosphere you usually see in an NFL stadium, it is a much more subdued, even sterilized environment. The only sounds you really hear are the instructions from the NFL coaches and scouts running the drills, and sometimes the exasperated exclamations of the prospects after a dropped pass, a slow 40-yard dash time, or something else.

Aston Martin will have Lance Stroll back for the first race of the 2023 F1 season
Aston Martin received some good news before the first race of the 2023 Formula 1 season, when they learned that Lance Stroll would be back behind the wheel for the first race of the campaign.
Stroll missed last week’s pre-season testing after suffering a training injury. Reserve driver Felipe Drugovich took Stroll’s place behind the wheel of the team’s 2023 challenger, the AMR23.

John Harbaugh gave a pretty interesting answer when talking about his brother Jim’s tenure at Michigan.
The head coach of the Wolverines has flirted with returning to the NFL the past two seasons, but it ultimately never happened.
He’s sticking around in Ann Arbor (for now), and he wants people to believe he’ll be there for years to come. John Harbaugh, who has had a ton of success coaching the Ravens, thinks John will stay at Michigan……..unless “God’s got other plans.”
