The Buffalo Bills added to their defensive line on Day 3 of the 2026 NFL draft, selecting Penn State’s Zane Durant 181st overall in the fifth round.
Durant is undersized for a defensive tackle at 6’1″ and 290 pounds, but he ranked second in athleticism score at the combine among defensive tackles while showcasing a quick first-step, lateral agility, and a low pad level.
He has a versatile skillet along the defensive line and can be used at multiple spots.

Boston Red Sox chief baseball officer Craig Breslow and team CEO Sam Kennedy met with reporters on Sunday morning in Baltimore following Saturday’s firing of manager Alex Cora and five coaches.
Kennedy said the decision was made to dismiss Cora and the coaches on Saturday morning, after which he and Breslow traveled to Baltimore to inform them of the change.

Armagh started their Ulster Ladies Senior Football Championship campaign with a 0-10 to 1-4 win over Donegal at the Athletic Grounds.
In a repeat of last year’s final, which Armagh comfortably won, the holders were pushed by a late Donegal fightback.
The Orchard County led by seven points at the break with a commanding 0-8 to 0-1 advantage.

West Ham moved further away from relegation danger with a crucial win over Liverpool in the Women’s Super League.
The result means West Ham have moved one point behind Liverpool and seven points clear of bottom club Leicester, who have a game in hand.
The Hammers took the lead after six minutes when Viviane Asseyi’s corner was poked into her own net by the unfortunate Cornelia Kapocs.
Asseyi had a shot blocked and another one saved from Liverpool goalkeeper Jennifer Falk as West Ham made a bright start.

Boston fired Alex Cora and five other coaches on Saturday following a 10-17. Triple-A Worcester skipper Chad Tracy will take over as the Red Sox’s interim manager.
Craig Breslow discussed the choice during Sunday morning’s press conference.

The Las Vegas Raiders swung a trade for Buffalo Bills cornerback Taron Johnson around the start of the NFL league year. That trade wrapped up at the 2026 NFL Draft, so let’s take a look at the haul for both teams.

Riyan Parag’s underwhelming form in IPL 2026 may be a concern on paper, but Vikram Rathour isn’t losing sleep over it. The Rajasthan Royals batting coach remains confident that his skipper will turn things around as the tournament progresses.
Parag, whose appointment as captain raised a few eyebrows given the presence of established names like Yashasvi Jaiswal and Dhruv Jurel, has endured a tough start. In eight matches, he has managed just 88 runs at a strike rate of 112.82, with a highest score of 20.

Saturday was more of the same for LSU baseball. A day after LSU lost in extra innings after blowing a lead in the ninth inning, a similar story played out. The Tigers held a 7-2 lead going into the seventh inning on Saturday, but a Mississippi State grand slam tied it up. State would take a two-run lead in the ninth and LSU was unable to come back.
The LSU offense was able to produce once again, but the Tigers had three errors as they were back to their old ways defensively. William Schmidt got the start in this game but was pulled after four innings of work.
