The Saudi-backed LIV Golf will sign its most lucrative television deal yet giving the start-up league a much needed boost.
LIV Golf is headed to Fox.
According to Josh Carpenter of Sports Business Journal, LIV is expected to sign a broadcast deal with Fox Sports for its 2025 season. Fox, which last aired live golf at the 2019 U.S. Open, will air all of the league’s tournaments on its network, Fox Sports 1, or a combination of both—the specifics of which remain unclear.

The No. 20 Michigan State Spartans took down the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, 58-77, on Tuesday night in Detroit. But it was the teams’ head coaches, Tom Izzo and Greg Kampe, who truly stole the show.
Izzo and Kampe showed up to Little Caesars Arena wearing matching Grinch Christmas sweaters.
We’d like to believe this is some hilarious coincidence, but the wardrobe choice was certainly planned. The two legendary coaches have been good friends for quite some time, and they’ve both been known to whip out silly garb when they go head-to-head.

The decline of the NBA in 2024 has become undeniable, even for its most hardened fans. Ratings are catastrophically low, down nearly 50 percent from prior years. The midseason NBA Cup has been a failure, with little interest, open seats, and no ratings boost.
Retired legend and current commentator Shaquille O’Neal has some thoughts as to what’s behind the NBA’s significant problems. And he blames one of the league’s biggest stars.

Let’s break down the Zach LaVine to the Nuggets trade rumor, plus grade the likelihood the deal actually happens
Zach LaVine has lingered on the trade block for more than a year as the Chicago Bulls have been fully submerged in mediocrity. The market has been nearly silent for LaVine with teams worried about taking on large salaries under the new CBA, but a potential suitor finally emerged on Tuesday night.
The Denver Nuggets reportedly have “significant” interest in LaVine as the NBA trade deadline approaches on Feb.

Wisconsin-Green Bay took a big gamble when they hired longtime sports broadcaster Doug Gottlieb, who had never coached at the college level in any capacity, as their head coach.
So far, the lack of experience is proving to be a big problem. The Phoenix won two of their first five games this season, one over Western Illinois and the other over SIU Edwardsville. Not exactly massive victories, but victories nonetheless.
Since beating SIUE on November 19, Green Bay, led by Gottlieb, hasn’t won a single game. They entered Wednesday on a seven-game losing streak.
