Trouble performing in January … once a Cowboy, always a Cowboy.
CBS color analyst Tony Romo got off to a rough start on Sunday for the AFC Divisional Round’s primetime game between the Kansas City Chiefs and Buffalo Bills.
Romo, the ex-Cowboys quarterback, dropped what he thought would be a clever callback to NFL history, only to erroneously mix up his fun facts.

In the opening minute of the game, Buffalo tight end Dalton Kincaid batted a fumbled Bills ball out of bounds to prevent a recovery from Kansas City.

Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce was one of the stars on the field during a 27–24 AFC divisional round victory over the Buffalo Bills, but it was his brother who put on a clinic for how to be the ultimate super fan.
Philadelphia Eagles center Jason Kelce went viral after the first of two touchdowns his brother scored against Buffalo, as he stood hanging out of a suite shirtless and screaming in celebration while wearing a Chiefs beanie.
Chiefs fans loved it, the general NFL fans couldn’t help but enjoy it, and even Dallas Cowboys fans surely got a kick out of it.

The Kansas City Chiefs may have had some difficulty warming back up after their frigid divisional round victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night.
After the Chiefs knocked the Bills out of the playoffs for the third time in four years, offensive tackle Donovan Smith took to social media with a complaint about the state of the visitors’ locker room.
The 30-year-old claimed that Buffalo had turned off the hot water in Kansas City’s locker room after the game, forcing Chiefs players to take cold showers after having competed in below-freezing conditions throughout the game.

The Kansas City Chiefs advanced to an incredible sixth consecutive AFC championship game after pulling out a 27–24 road victory over the Buffalo Bills on Sunday night. And while a wild fourth quarter featuring a few mishaps for both teams has been the postgame focal point, it was Philadelphia Eagles center and brother of Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, Jason, who made the early game headlines.
Jason Kelce was in attendance and quickly proved to be his brother’s biggest cheerleader on Sunday.

This is when we really start using words such as “cursed.” This is when we dig up land-surveying results and ensure that the stadium is not built atop some ancient order of ghouls whose sole purpose is torturing its frozen occupants. This is when we search for explanations to losses not born of our world. This is when we bring in the priest, bust out the sage, mount the flamethrower … anything.
Wide right. Again. And before that, a missed touchdown pass.

The Detroit Lions are going to the NFC championship game after a 31–23 win over the Tampa Bay Buccaneers in Sunday’s divisional round playoff game. But the players on the field weren’t the only ones in the stadium whose exploits drew admiration.
Early in the second half, a fan was photographed sitting down with an enormously stacked sandwich in the Ford Field stands. Seeing the sandwich might have reminded older fans of the heaping lunches Dagwood fixed for himself in the Blondie comic strip.
