The Boston Celtics had their five-game winning streak snapped by the New York Knicks on Sunday afternoon, enduring one of their worst losses of the season. The Knicks throttled the Celtics 111-89 at TD Garden, sending Celtics fans home in a foul mood before their New England Patriots take on the Seattle Seahawks in Super Bowl LX tonight.
For the second time in as many games, Boston got off to a terrible start, trailing by 11 points at the end of the first quarter.

President Donald Trump had some choice words for Team USA freestyle skier Hunter Hess.
On Saturday, Hess spoke with reporters about how he feels supporting his country at the 2026 Winter Olympics. In true Megan Rapinoe fashion, he complained and whined like a privileged brat and said he loathes the opportunity to support his homeland.
“Just ’cause we’re wearing the flag does not mean we are representing everything that’s going on in the US,” Hess said. “I just kinda want to do it for friends and family that supported me getting here.

MILAN (AP) — U.S. President Donald Trump on Sunday said that it is hard to cheer for American Olympians who are speaking out against administration policies, calling one such critic “a real Loser” who perhaps should have stayed home.
It was the latest and most prominent example of U.S. Olympians at the Milan Cortina Games inviting online backlash with their words.
Reporters on Friday asked U.S. athletes at a news conference how they feel representing the country during the Trump administration’s heighted immigration enforcement actions.

The New England Patriots and Seattle Seahawks will meet in the 2026 Super Bowl in Santa Clara, California, on Sunday.
The Patriots won their last title in 2019 and will make their 11th overall Super Bowl appearance this weekend, but first in the Drake Maye era. Sunday’s matchup against New England is the Seahawks’ fourth overall Super Bowl appearance and the first in the Sam Darnold era.
